2 years as a player, 1 as a player/coach.

Its a good deal and the bloke is good for the culture of the club.

Bloody long though. I would hope it has triggers, he's getting long in the tooth. Been a fantastic asset though so deserves a bit of a retirement fund regardless I guess.

So much for Lance wanting to get out of here and hating the place like a few were suggesting all year.

I think his attitude is probably underrated and his demeanor is more a reflection of his personality type than of any lack of care factor etc.

Good chance we see him come out of his shell more over the next 12 months

3 years for Collard but only 2 for Sharman?

Bizarre list management. Collard could not have had a worse year IMO. Looks miles off the pace.

Looking at our list composition and coming to the conclusion we need to cull more from that 28+ group. Prior to delistings we would have had 17 players over 28yrs old by round 1 next year!

Getting rid of Campbell, Ross and Bonner is a good start but I would also be saying cya later to Hayes. Crouch Cordy and Jones the others we should look at moving on from.

We should not be recruiting anyone in this age group

I would like to see Wilkie and Wood get co-captaincy, with Windy and Byrnes as deputies. Steelo just needs to concentrate on being as good as his best has been, the official leadership role doesn't suit him, no shame in that.

Marshall looks the most natural leader out there.
We’ve seen him do the “jump on my shoulders and I’ll carry you” gesture a couple of times this year after kicking a goal. His form has been outstanding, his enthusiasm infectious. Players want to follow him.

Wilkie as his vice. The rock solid General in defence commanding the air, and repelling the opposition attack, wave after wave.

The captaincy seems to have ground Steele down. It’s time to release the shackles.

Wasn't Crouch done? His knee was fubar. Seemed negligent sending out there for Sandy.
