Saturday Norwood is the worst of all worlds. Rules you out of the double header at AO.
Meh, if the first game is Carlton v West Coast as per Tom's tweet earlier it's no great loss. Will be able to get there in time for the evening game.

Better than getting sent out to Lyndoch.

I would have preferred an Adelaide Oval neutral game but at least we didn't cop whoop whoop like 2023 or the Gaz game like last year.

Planning a trip to gather round with a mate. How hard is it to get tickets. We want to head over Wednesday and fly back Monday. He is a Port fan so Sunday night blockbuster to finish will be good.

Provided you have enough member barcodes to get into the members pre-sale then it is simple enough. I didn't have a problem either of the last 2 years.

Carlton v West Coast and Dees v Essendon at AO. How do we get Norwood out of those two games??

Why didn't we get our SA buddies, North again? :'(

How is Norwood Oval even used for AFL; may as well have it at bloody Hindmarsh Oval. So not fit for purpose for AFL.

While BigFooty and Twitter melts down about the thought of the reigning premier being "shafted", it's also possible that there is another motivation at bay... This from a club survey I completed in October 2023:

For Gather Round, we should make a point of requesting to play at Norwood or the regional venue. This way we avoid a 12th "away" game against Adelaide or Port.

In addition we also breed venue familiarity relative to our opposition. Having played at Norwood this year will absolutely be to our advantage compared to the Bulldogs.

They have the Bulldogs listed first there, so I would assume that means it will be their home game?
So if we do happen to play them again next year then it should be at the Gabba.
That’s a positive.
Outstanding detective work 🕵️

Now watch us cop Ballarat anyway 😂🤦

Im kinda happy as it means playing the dogs at a neutral venue - less likely to play them at Ballarat.

Plus we might get a game against North in Melbourne that would likely be a Sunday arvo game - likely low crowd and easy game to take my 2 year old to a game
