I believe the preseason draft exists for the player who does not renew their contract and the club refuses to trade them to their club of choice (which could of been a possibility for Treloar, Aish, Lennon etc to getting to Carlton cheaply)
I know he sustained a punctured lung in that game....extremely hard physcially to come back after that, let alone being mentally confident to be agressive.

The Lions would want more than pick 20! Especially if we obtain earlier picks thru trades for Yarran, Henderson etc. Though I feel pick 20 is probably about his worth.
