Fair go Harvs, what makes you think the Chump would have a missus? More likely happy in the company of others so he regail himself in past glories of fabulous ball sport performances.
Harvs it pays to go easy on those less fortunate than yourself.
Go Wicks!
Hooray - good to see the Warriors bandwagon running full steam ahead. Vineyard, keep chugging, massive early season wins is what it is all about. Must be so proud to beat the bottom two sides. even though April rain does not signify the end of a drought, neither does two wins against sides...
Some valid points, but I doubt anyone who has been around the ammos too long would put much credit in practice match results. The difference in most sides between round 1 to any practice match would be in my experience be at least half, and then about the same again by round 2. Agree with...
Is "Mark Harvey" posting this year? From memory he had a bit to say last year on this thread? Maybe he has moved on with his club to D4, he smelt badly of UHS or St Mary's
From close hand reports. Am a believer that if you are a playing coach you need to set the standards both at training and on game days. I am lead to believe that the demotion of Ivanhoe is a fair reflection of the standards set (at training particularly, not by the players but by the coach).
What about Scott Dishon from West Brunswick. Don't know if he can play but he looks like Brian Straun.
Any other good look alikes in D3 this year.
I remember playing against "The Sheminator" and "Wee Man" (the Giant Dwarf) at Syndal Tally Ho. Also the biggest Hair Lick in amateur football...
Hunters formula for Top 4.
1 of demoted side to make it
1 of promoted side to make it
1 of remaining finalist to make it
This year I can't see either of demoted sides making it, so ladder as follows:
Elsternwick
Powerhouse
Westbourne/West Brunswick/Kew/Monash
La Trobe/Ivanhoe...
From what I hear it would be a stetch for Coach Hollywood to have taken 6 or 7 mates with him from Ivanhoe. From what I could gather he was last seen leaving arm in arm with his one and only best mate from the club. A man and his shadow walking into the sunset - Man was a Munt!
Well said Coach, Harv's has been a genuine pest all year, and if you'd followed this thresd you would see that is full of VAFA nuts all of who love the game with a passion. The likes of Motor Bike Rob, iTap, Knackers 2 etc etc, give nothing but insightful comments to those D3 lovers...
Mate this is a family orientated thread, not sure we are that interested in hearing from blokes who lie in bed all day, "surfing the net".
I can think of many better things to lie in bed with other than the net, looking at Big Footy.
Sad Hollywood, Sad!
Did he? Apparently Treasurer at club yet to see the "hard earned", so may even be worse than not putting on a barrell (which apparently is not such bad form in some quarters), but saying you will put on a barrell and not pay.
Shame Sandals, Shame!
Maybe looking at a D3 premiership for Hollywood, Blacky, but who do you think the coach will be coaching. Had a look at D3, given that the two sides coming up from D4 would most likely maintain their coaches, the best option could be Kew, Swinburne or Monash. I only suggest this as I couldn't...
Agreed Sportsman, but a thing called karma may return. Probably the type of bloke who would be "at the toilet", or having to leave when his turn to buy a round. Just not the done thing, pocketing the cash.
I would imagine that most clubs would allow a "barrell" at cost to be put on. Still...
I have only got this third hand, but apparently a player from Uni Blacks won their $1000 draw on Sunday, was in attendance, and put nothing on the bar afterwards.
Can this be topped for "Good Bloke" of the year.
Sorry about the slow reply KB2, but sliced some tendons after falling through "lips' coffee table. Has been hard to type with my nose. The Pigs by Plenty. Higgins to dine in the trough for 8 and a lazy 16 goal lesson to the Saints.
