Never mentioned in the top 10?
- 2007 Brownlow runner up
- 2007 Lou Richards Medal
- 2008 Herald Sun Player of the year
- 2008 Lou Richards Medal
Was clearly in the top 3 midfielders in those 2 years, probably 2nd behind Gary Ablett Jnr (who we all know will go down as the best midfielder of...
...and skill than those 3 - you can see this by a quick youtube search of all 4. He has won more games off his own boot than those three as shown by 34* three vote games (and counting) in his career and his 418 goals. Compared to James Hird 19, Nathan Buckley 33 and Voss 26. The only thing...
Hansen is nearly the last person on our list that should be brought in...
Out - Cunnington, Tarrant
In - Greenwood, Pederson
Cunnington is no where near AFL standard, should be playing VFL until he shows something.
Why Greenwood didnt play on Saturday night is beyond me. He is easily in our...
Can't believe how pathetic and disrespectful some people are, give the great man some respect!
Boomer has the best highlight reel going around, everyone wishes he played for their club.
FauuEr7Zw0w
He is still playing a vital role in the team even when he has a bad day because he still cops the hardest tag every week, this allows swallow and wellsy and other mids to run more freely.
If sometime down the track boomer isn't the first one tagged, he will run a muck.
Whoever doesn't think boomer is a champion of the game is a dead set flog.
- Being the games record holder at a club is an enormous achievement.
- He has more 3 Brownlow vote games than Hird, Voss and Buckley!
- Top 10 in AFL history for total brownlow votes.
- 2007 Lou Richards Medalist...
Yes, RFS that seems to be correct. 3 school kids slotted straight into seniors as well, but as I mentioned before the amount of 19s playing seniors had no affect on the game whatsoever and Fitzroy deserved the 4 points.
RFS, there were 7 U19s playing seniors on the weekend, I won't bother naming them. This had no affect on the Beaumaris vs. Fitzroy game though, as Beauy still had some handy inclusions. Beaumaris struggled all day and didn't deserve to win, well done to Fitzroy for getting the 4 points. It was...
Scotch v Uni Blacks - Should bounce back after 3 losses in a row and win in a close one over Uni Blacks in front of the home crowd.
Uni Blues v Old Melb - Crawford oval will suit both teams as both have extremely small home grounds, Uni Blues will out class OM's and win by 4-5 goals.
Fitzroy v...
No doubt that Fyfe is killing it, but the fact that he is a second year player is not taken into consideration when selecting the AA 22. Forget Pav there are still many players that have been better than him!
Pav has been good this year freo supporters clearly just expect too much of him, players like Fyfe you don't have high expectations so when he gets 25+ touches and snags a goal you are like "whoah".
Firstly, Pav has been better than Fyfe and I am a big fan of Priddis who goes under the radar down west. Jude Bolton having his best season ever! Scott Thompson (Adelaide) has been great this year. If you want my bias I think Wells and Swallow have been better than Fyfe as well...
Good to see the reponse for my thread, Remember we are talking about set shots 35-40m out straight in front, and players who are kicking well this season i'm not worried about what people have done in the past e.g. Bradshaw and Williams.
I think Kennedy hasn't been as accurate as he was last...
Jamison - Been very good this year, but probably your bias showing.
Enright - Was very good early and still been good but having his worst season in years.
Ottens - Probably your worst call, ruckman like Goldy or Mumford would get the nod ahead of him.
Fyfe - Been awesome for a young player...
Who would be the top 5 players at the moment who you would pick to kick from 35-40m out straight in front.
Mine would be
1. Aaron Edwards
2. Jack Riewoldt
3. Mark Lecras
4. Patrick Dangerfield
5. Justin Westoff (Even though he missed that goal against GC he is still a dead-eye)
I know there...
Losing those 4 games in which we were in winning positions against west coast, richmond, brisbane and sydney will cost us finals. Maybe if we won 1 or 2 of them it would've helped.
To be honest, whilst making finals would be a good experience for our youngsters we would be just making up the...
As I said, Not many North fans know how good he is, because they are ignorant to some of the lesser known players from the West.
Calling him a VFL standard player is an absolute joke and disrespectful to one of our players. Kicked nearly 80 goals in 2008 and 2009 for West Coast including a bag...
Gotta give McKinley a chance to prove himself for our club. He is a dead set jet and has been tearing up the VFL for far too long with out being given a fair go!
I don't think other North supporters realise how good the kid is.
Not even gonna reply to that Teffy, my football understanding is of the highest level and should not be brought into question.
Hansen should be given a couple of weeks in the VFL to get some confidence and he can develop his game better there than playing like arse in the the 1s. And this will...
Lachy Hansen is yet to play a good game this year, so why does he get so many chances? It seems like he is an automatic selection even though he is a rubbish player with very poor work ethic.
Cam Pedersen has played two solid games and has given 100% for the team in both his opportunities and...
