in todays paper peter congress indicates there is five sfl clubs that might struggle to field an u/18 side. can anyone enlighten me as to who they might be. surely it wouldnt be any of the city clubs or irymple. dosent sound too good.
how could merbein let any good young player go at this stage. they must find a way to keep their young players at the club. if it came to the crunch surely the tribunal wouldnt let him transfer either.

the gulf between sfl and the millewa is huge, I agree. gol gol have some very handy players although some wouldnt get a game with a top seconds side in town.
sunraysia footy league has the mighty murray flowing past but its not so mighty at the moment. we too are on restrictions and it will get a lot worse. already going to training once a week, no practice matches etc etc. grounds herev are like cement. this is consistantly the hottest part...

i tend to agree about having a week off, maybe it just wasnt possible. it was a big ask of the werrimul boys to back up like that. i personally hope the comp evens up a bit this year. does anyone know if the are allowed to water the grounds out at the lake...
