There is nothing factual in the HUN article that isn't in The Age article though. Neither article says we nor Treloar has done anything wrong, The Age one actually walks through in a bit more detail that the deals will get done but the HUN articles also puts a lot of ambiguous/subjective...

The HUN is a tabloid and its articles and journalists should be treated as such. The article on Pies trading on The Age website now is much more objective, doesn't slag us off & gives you the warm & fuzzy feeling of basically saying that all of our deals will get done :)

Pies only need to show Brisbane that we would be a good chance of getting him via the draft anyway & Lions will then have to do the trade. Lots of options for this as have been mentioned: put a huge price on his head, Package two 20's picks for a late teens pick etc. I think it's pretty likely.

I'd be pretty rapt if we somehow got Tomlinson too. Can play on a wing or as a lead-up forward like Tom Lynch (Adel) does. Can be a 3rd forward, can play back... just a very useful, skilled utility that could (& likely would) fill a number of spots in our 22.
