Best Place to watch tomorrow's game in the Inner West
Hoping some Sydney Hawks can help mke with the best place to watch the game in Inner Western Sydney tomorrow, around Petersham? ANy suggestions much appreciated.
I'm a Hawks fan who will be in Sydney tomorrow, staying in Petersham. What are my best options for watching the Hawthorn v Adelaide game in the afternoon? Would love some help
How far ahead of himself is this bloke getting?
If he's worried about his standing in the game, he should stop grabbing blokes by the cods as part of his "close checking". You generally don't get whacked in the head every week for being a good bloke.
What an absolute clown... must think...
Gee, these Mormons are a touchy bunch - you would think you would be relaxed if you had one wife to chop the wood, one to dig the holes, on the vacuum and one on bedroom duties!
Does anyone know if next Saturday's game against the Dogs will be televised on Free to Air television on Saturday afternoon in Melbourne? Tried checking the AFL site but, surprise surprise, there's no info there beyond this week.
Re: Judd Gone To Carlton
Let’s review. Here’s what Juddy said
“I want good facilities” – Carlton have among the crappiest in the league
“I want to play finals” - He will be one of about two blokes in the team who would get a game for a top eight side.
“I want to play at the G” He will...
He's hardly flown under the radar, he was in the bloody All Australian team.
Good honest midfielder who benefitted from teams focussing their attention on Bartel, Ablett jr, etc. The least deserving of all Geelong's AA picks except Mooney.
Did he have a better season than Mitchell, Foley...
Hear, hear. Mooney's Angrys Scream/Tough Guy Flex after EVERY SINGLE GOAL HE KICKS makes Tredrea and Cornes look like Scot West and James Hird.
Particularly grated on Friday night when he pretty much got a bath for most of the game.
And while we're on the Cats, didn't Gary Jr look...
Correct. If we'd won, Harvey would have got 1 and Rawlings 2.
Crawford's would have been downgraded to "negligent", Hodge and Lewis would have had no case to answer.
What's your point, mate?
2.11 got us an pretty big win - if Franklin kicks the same score this week, i'd reckon we come out with a win.
Nice to see you don't have the balls to put your own team up. Respect, peanut.
Lucky there isn't a drug problem in the western suburbs, so they won't be tempted, and the club won't be sent broke by you not buying a new beanie every 12 years.
Interesting that this thread dried up when Kitty was asked directly how he/she had been employed for Channel Seven.
If only their legal team was as careful as their PR people!
No. Thompson wouldn't replace Buddy or Franklin, Gibson wouldn't replace Birchall, Smith or Brown.
Would love Wells, though, if he's available - his speed would finish off the midfield nicely.
Well said.
I am struggling to believe that any of these "AFL Players are sooks" threads are being started by people not involved in some way with Channel Seven. Posting history of the people who are starting them (lots of baggin Channel Nine, Caro, etc) would seem to support that.
You...
Thanks, Mrs Howard, but we all still think Dylan is the biggest flog in football.
Channel Seven acted in a morally reprehensible, very possibly criminal, manner in their purchasing medical records and airing the details. They bought the rights to show football on TV, not to treat players with...
I have to mention The Age's Warwick Green here. He has for some reason beeen doing the votes for the Hawthorn games for the past few weeks, and i reckon he is a show not to have been at any of them. Hopeless.
The other flame has to go to Caro on football (ie not boardroom/backroom bullshit)...
I think what Peter Hudson is trying to say in his article is the same thing all Hawks supporters were thinking after Sunday's game -
"How the f#ck did jordan lewis miss that fu%king shot from 30 out in the last quarter?"
Out of interest, why don't you rate them? Boyle, Franklin and Roughhead have kicked 120 goals between them this year - how many would they have to have kicked for you to be impressed?
What about your man Cam Mooney - has he ever scored a goal that wasn't followed by a flex of his massive pecs and biceps to the fans? Never with a smile, always pulls a head like he is mel Gibson in Braveheart.
Also, for many years he sported an Alice band on the field.
Flog.
This is a weird thread - to me, Parko just sounds like a grumpy old Hawthorn supporter. He was even calling Port Adelaide "they" in the third quarter, til someone pulled him up and he said "they being Port Adelaide". In my experience, old buggers will moan about their sides unless they are 10...
The thing I don't understand - and if someone could fill me in, that'd be great - is why Judd gets off scot free. If the AFL now believes the circumstances of the case have changed, shouldn't Judd's eye gouging case be re-opened? Or is there a by law that prevents this from happening?
