In two minds with trades this week. Initially Dempsey to Sweet/Powell to Dawson was the play…
With the lack of forwards I’m thinking to hold Powell rather than fielding (and potential outs for Norf) and thinking Cadman to Sweet and bank $140k for next week but miss out on Dawson.
Grundy to...
Current fwd set up is Heeney, Flanders, Powell, Reid, Dempsey, Darcy.
No Jackson, plan is to monitor him playing side by side with Darcy and bring him in as a fwd upgrade

Is Comben a must have at this point? I can bank the same sort of money for upgrades next week by just doing the one trading and using a boost next week to potentially double upgrade

Initial trade thoughts although Carroll to Comben feels very much sideways. I could fix up a dead rookie in Coffield down back and trade Carroll to Garcia/Biggie, but I’d be going early and miss out on a potential cash cow in Comben. Thoughts?

Howes > Clohesy
Jhye Clark > JHF
I have $152k banked and on the surface these trades look good, but I’m not sure spending it on JHF (speculative keeper) is the right thing to do. Would also mean pushing Kerch/Sanders to the bench. Thoughts?

Assuming Sexton is dropped and Darcy is named, is this a viable cash grab? Think not owning Dempsey and missing out on his cash is hurting, plus could argue more consistent field option than Billings right now.
Currently ranked 3.5k and $152k in the kitty to upgrade Jordan next week at his...
Pre-round 4 team - key notable outs include Dempsey & Jackson, also trying to find the right combo between FWD/DEF to keep the cash flowing with the likes of Draper/Darcy.
Completely stuck on what trades to do this week, but in my mind ideally I bank enough $$$ to go Jordan to Jackson next week...
Settled on these trades;
Young to Houston
Windsor to Carroll
Fyfe to Powell
Too soon to cull Windsor, but have all the bubble boys on bench besides Dempsey and decided to upgrade Young to Houston over the likes of NWM.
Not much in the bank left but went early on upgrades last week bringing in...
This could be a one week fix, trading Coffield for Worner next week and loop the D6 position until ready to upgrade

Both have to go, if your midfield bench has a potential fieldable option/loop I would lean towards trading Young to a premo. Could work both ways, depending on who you are targeting to maximise points

Tinkering with my team to try and squeeze Jackson & Powell into my team in the same week using cash generation from Young.
Young > Pink/Hore/Phillips (pending teams)
Sexton > Powell
Fyfe > Jackson & $26k ITB
Would mean fielding Howes + another defensive rookie over the next couple of bye weeks...
Something like Young to Whitfield (grabbing him a week early and fielding 21, priced out of Stew/Ryan)
Fyfe to Powell & Sexton to Dempsey?

Thanks, I think I’m just at the point of not settling on my trades this week so trying something different…
Would you say Young to a premo + Powell and rookie correction js a better use of 3 trades?

Can’t upload photo of my team for reference, but Howes is D6, Sanders, Kerch and Roberts M6-8 and Reid F6 (Flanders & Heeney F1 & 2). Still carrying dead backline, hoping to rectify if Worner is named and Young survives another week… Rank 6k

Someone talk me out of this…
Miller > Crouch
Fyfe > Powell
Grundy > Jackson
Do not want to miss the Powell train and Fyfe proving to be a liability with the sub risk. Crouch/Miller sideways, but gives me the funds to grab Jackson via Grundy and not miss out on a couple of huge scores coming...
The role change is there to see, but I think Sicily will be fine long term. With the early trades though you could definitely make a play for Sheezel now (BE 78) vs. Sicily (196), and grab Sicily once he bottoms out as most will likely do, also gives you time to decide if his role is safe week...
Two trades locked in so far.
Gibcus > Mass
Fisher > Billings
Unsure as to whether the third trade to boost Wines to Serong and grab a bonfide premo now, Wines to Hogan and play for the $$$ cash grab over the next few weeks or just hold the boost to monitor who are priority pick ups next week...
3 premo fwds + fisher seems a bit heavy given it’ll mean I have to drop a premo elsewhere.. Would need to make a call

Jackson v Flanders is the call here, will ultimately determine how I structure up bench rookies. This current set up leave $400 in the kitty, will make some coin with a Gibcus correction trade, but not sure if the play here is to go Flanders over Jacko and bank some extra cash

Hey Legends, currently ranked 14k overall and have already used 3 trades in round 1 doing a few rookie corrections and banking some coin for future upgrades by offloading Fyfe.
Currently looking at a few options - but need help as I may be over thinking it due to FOMO and not sure whether I...
Hey mate, yeah I’ve written in the bottom of my post Hosie will be Ruscoe. I took that screenshot before teams were named...

Need help deciding which option to go with. Bringing in Draper allows me to generate some much needed bench cash but leaning towards bringing in Titch as I feel he’s a safer pick then Shuey. May need to miss out on Draper otherwise?
*Hosie would be Ruscoe since he wasn’t named and went early on...
Thoughts on:
Simpkin, Starcevich and King OUT
Duncan, Stewart and Woodcock in (18k in bank)
Would leave 4 rookies on field to upgrade - Rankine, Close, Pickett and Simpson?
Cheers!

Trades done so far - Taylor and McInerny to Close and B.Smith
Still deciding on what to do with Doedee (134k in bank, no bench cover). Do I sideways trade a rookie on my bench for Ling? Plan was to always hold Doedee and turn Starcevich into Stewart next week and defence is done.
Trading Doedee...
In the same boat as a few others with Doedee causing some headaches in the backline...
Considering trading Taylor, McInerny and O'Connor out for Close, B. Smith and T. Watson... Allows me to bank 113k whilst holding bench cover down back in case Doedee is out (assuming Watson gets another...
Operation Get Gawn this week - however my midfield rookies are in a shambles and looking at another week fielding a donut. Hopefully with the increase in trades during Rounds 9-12 this should help me fix this issue. This week's trades I'm looking at (currently 537k in bank):
Pittonet --> Gawn...
