Toast Round 14 = North Melbourne 118-119 Collingwood

Jeez you should be celebrating 2 1/2 quarters of fantastic footy from your boys and some positive signs for the future along with some things to work on. You almost won and let’s face it the difference between 16th or 18th is not all that significant.

Conveniently overlooking the non 50 for Wardlaw being in the prohibited zone which would have seen Bobby Hill having a shot for goal.

Yeah and a couple more cm to the left it hits the post anyway.

Exactly. I was pretty angry at the Melbourne boos last week and baffled how you could see the incident any other way. However I’m not going to engage with media or supporters who imply otherwise. Did enough of that at the time. Bruzz would have a completely clear conscience regarding his...

    Player Watch Brayden Maynard

I certainly won’t remember Bruzzy for an accidental/incidental collision with a Melbourne player. I’ll leave those who want to infer otherwise to their own devices. I’ll remember him and celebrate him for his commitment to our cause week in week out and his 100% attack on ball and player week...

Then after a few weeks of the game’s best players being nullified the AFL will direct the umpires to interpret the holding differently and there will be 50 free kicks that weren’t given the last month. They don’t make it easy for the umps, players or spectators. It’s a nightmare to explain to...

It was lucky Petracca could barely get near the play otherwise things could have been even worse. Hope he makes a speedy and full recovery. One of the commentators said Melbourne will dread playing Collingwood as we “ended one player’s career and another one’s season possibly”. Goose Go well Trac.

Brilliant shots. I don’t think there’s another sports that provides action stills like ours. Constantly amazed by them. What’s the reasoning behind no interchangeable lenses at Marvel? Struggle to see what the issue is unless your banging the head of the person in front of you with a telephoto.

Unofficial Preview Round 14 vs. North Melbourne, Marvel, 1:00pm Sunday 16/06

Don’t think those changes improve us, more the opposite IMO. If you want to give North even more incentive then treating them as easybeats is a sure way of doing it. They’ll be fired up anyway after their first win along with playing the reigning premier. We want another good win and the...

Unofficial Preview Round 14 vs. North Melbourne, Marvel, 1:00pm Sunday 16/06

Yeah it happens but he was also responsible for one attack off half back that led to a goal and involved in another one shortly after. His field kicking was great last year and probably part of the reason he was preferred over Noble. I actually thought he started to show some of last year’s...

    Toast Round 13 = Collingwood 89-51 Melbourne

Yeah. I’m probably on a short tether temper wise after listening to the boos from Melbourne supporters towards Bruzzy and not one commentator mentioned the outcome of the tribunal clearing him nor one ex player pointing out that it was a football act devoid of maliciousness. Meanwhile they were...

    Toast Round 13 = Collingwood 89-51 Melbourne

So just got an alert about a new thread on the Swans board “should deliberate knee be suspendable?” citing the Petracca incident as precedent of course. Another reason why I wish I would not get these bloody Swan’s thread notifications. At a loss as to how to stop them. Help needed.

Yeah they all thought it was accidental but the replay suggested it was deliberate. Thanks for the eye witness verification. Amazing really👍

So anyone reckon Beau’s kick to Frampton was deliberate? I thought not as it happened but the slow mo ground level replay made me think twice. Hope he claims it😀

    Toast Round 13 = Collingwood 89-51 Melbourne

I don’t think I’ve seen a team gang tackle like we do it’s very impressive. Our youngsters don’t look phased by the contest and have a bit of mongrel about them on and off the ball. Bodes well and keeps everyone honest.

    Toast Round 13 = Collingwood 89-51 Melbourne

Fantastic win. Nailed our chances and just unstoppable at times with our tackling, backing each other, smothers, scraggs, spoils. Thought we backed our hands and skills off the ground really well. Kreuger, HH,WHE, Howe, Bruzz, Josh and Crispy the best with continued growth from the likes of...

Review Round 12 = Collingwood 82-100 Western Bulldogs

Well we fell short and whilst it was frustrating to be completely shut out of the last quarter we battled hard to give ourselves a chance. Cameron was huge in the absence of Cox I thought. Some poor goal kicking, terrible turnovers and just not being able to win clearances or stoppages in the...

    Review Round 11 = Fremantle 75-75 Collingwood

Agree however I reckon he balanced those moments with some other quite promising efforts, tackled hard, could have jagged a couple of goals which I love in a mid, has good hands and also took a strong mark when he had to. For the youngsters I feel that it was only when we seemed to slow the game...
