He was best on imo. Intercepting, winning 1v1s and his foot skills were absolutely sublime. And another hanger ofc.

Just loved how much he competes and has a crack. Interesting little tactical note I noticed. When the ball became locked in our F50 he would move from FF and take up space outside 50 to try and create a contest with their get out kick. Helped us to lock it in and gain repeat entries.

Hope he makes it, but he just doesn’t look it for me. Other top 4th year mids are/were much better at this stage. I’m glad he’s showing more strings to his bow at HF + getting a run of games. We need him to come on.
