Pretty much every decent draft guru would have Raynar outside the top 6 in this year draft. I don't think pick 1 is at all overrated this year. Ultimately, it comes down to where you think your side is at.

I agree there is plenty of players worth pick 1. However no chance Laird, Petracca, Macrae, Crouch, Raynar, Wines, Gresham, Brayshaw or Billings (wtf) would net pick 1.

If West Coach match McGovern stays, simple. I'd be staggered if anyone trades for him and their is no chance Hawthorn would look to move our first round pick for the type of player who is getting found out consistently as a key ,lockdown, defender this year.

I thought Morrison was stiff this week, but 'weekly' nominations so often are based on a block of form. Waterman has played every game this year, and was probably stiff not to be nominated in round 3. Also, perhaps 2 goals in a close derby swung the vote.
