Welcome to Spotswood Campus the home of the Ophidian Old Boys FFC. Being part of Spotswood Campus is being part of something very special, a confederation of elite Rookie School, professional Campus Departments, state of the art Qooty Facilities and is the only collegiate Fantasy Football Club in the SWEET F.A. Founded Season 34 the Ophidian Old Boy’s FFC has proven its qooty pedigree within 4 seasons as demonstrated with the Spotswood Trophy Room boasting the S35 Premiership Cup, S36 Wooden Spoon, S37 Premiership Cup, 10 All-SFA representatives, 2 EKA's, 2 Deestroy Medals and 1 Mobbs medal.

SPOTSWOOD CAMPUS OFFICIAL UNIFORMS​

All students attending class at Spotswood College must be in full uniform each day. Spotswood uniforms will be issued to each student on enrolment and an exchange system is in place to replace articles of clothing that are no longer pristine. Students will have opportunities to dress down and show their individualism on specific days of the year, however, it is imperative that students follow the guidelines daily.

OPHIDIAN OLD BOYS FFC TEAM JUMPERS
All students selected in the Ophidian Old Boys FFC will be issued designated team jumpers with allocated numbers displayed on the back. Ophidian Old Boy's FFC has designed a modern representative uniform that also reflects the past by bringing back the 'Hoops', a design whose origins can be traced back to the 1800's.

HOME GROUND​

Spotswood Reserve is the grounds official name,
but the Ophidian Old Boys fans lovingly refer to it as the Viper Pit and a place the opposition now fear stepping into.

SPOTSWOOD CAMPUS ENTRY
All patrons / visiting teams will need to check-in at the Spotswood Security Gate and go through the appropriate entry protocols as per their team’s entry status before gaining access to Spotswood Campus for the purpose of playing Qooty or attending any Old Boys Function.

As a patron / visitor entering the facilities you are agreeing to adhere to all entry requirements for you designated level and ensure they have on their persons the issued Members Access Swipe Card whilst on Campus.

ACCESS LEVELS
INNER SANCTUM

For those special teams who currently have shown support continuously for the Old Boys and helped maintain the lofty standards demanded by Spotswood. These exclusive teams deserve something special for their support so will receive access to premium match day offerings at every Spotswood’s game including attendance at the Chancellors after game celebration function, invite and premier seating at the Old Boys Best and Fairest function with full catering and bar as well as enjoying exclusive off-field opportunities and inner sanctum experiences from the club throughout the season.
Clubs with Inner Sanctum Access: West Coast Wonders / Baghdad Bombers / Sin City Swamprats

GOLD

Full access to facilities and campus and entry to game functions.
Clubs with Gold Access: Fighting Furies / Roys FFC

SILVER

Restrictive access to Spottington Common and Sir Aldus Haydovian Pavilion for the sole purpose of qooty, invitation only to game functions.
Clubs with Silver Access: Mount Buller Demons / East Side Phoenix / Las Vegas Bears

BRONZE

Full security screening and access to Spotswood Oval for Qooty purposes only. On entry to Spotswood Campus all visiting bronze team qooty players will be screened by metal detectors for the possession of guns, weapons and dangerous objects. On exit of Spotswood Campus all visiting bronze team qooty players will be screened by metal detectors and OOB Security will inspect the contents of any brief case, knapsack, purse or parcel that may contain stolen goods. Bronze teams are to be escorted and removed immediately at the completion of the game.
Clubs with Bronze Access: Coney Island Warriors / Gold City Royals / Gumbies FFC

COPROLITE

Clubs that have demonstrated low moral fibre and the inability to maintain the high standards expected of them within the walls of Spotswood Campus will receive the coprolite rating. Any team receiving this level of access will be refused access onto campus or its facilities including any form of change rooms. Alternative playing venue will be arranged and posted before the games scheduled date and if Coprolite teams need to change before the game we suggest they use the facilities at Qar Park. If teams of this level are found anywhere around the facility their members will be sprayed with fire hoses to remove the putrid waste.

OOB TEAM SELECTORS TO RELEASE S38 TEAM SOON

The Ophidian Old Boy Team Selectors and coaching staff have been going over last seasons game tapes and also the latest State of Origin Games to select a different looking Old Boys team in their bid to stay ahead of the competition and go cup2spoon2cup2cup.

Old Boys Coach Snake Plissken when asked for a comment stated 'To ensure our players don't get complacent after their second Grand final win in only 3 season and remain hungry for success we are not afraid to move the magnets on the team selection board around and offer new challenges to players who may have got comfortable in one role. Certainly the State of Origin series has given us a great look at how some of our players perform in non traditional roles on the qooty field."

When asked for an example of what type of changes we could expect Snake stated "BRAB who has played as our Full Back for the last 4 seasons got to show his ability to score qoals playing in the Allies Forward Line and scored 10 qoals in just 4 games. This certainly has impressed our selectors and got them thinking he may get some time playing up forward for the Old Boys in S38."

When the Captain Tigerturbulance was asked about his thoughts on the positional changes for S38 he stated "I'm really excited to see players get new opportunities to show their qooty skills. The only way we will keep in front of the rest of the teams is to keep reinventing ourselves and challenge each other to lift to another level. I am particularly excited about our 3 new players that will be lining up in the hoops S38. Dingster with all his experience brings to the team a plethora of qooty skill and knowledge and the return of Over The Post will certainly add some great attack to our game. Also our new recruit FreoGirl has been training the house down and looks like adding more speed and endurance to our squad, our cup2spoon2cup2cup dream is certainly alive."​

S38 OPHIDIAN OLD BOYS DEFENSIVE UNIT NAMED

The Ophidian Old Boys Team selectors promised there would be some player movement around the qooty field for the new season and they were not kidding.

Harvey Manfrenjensenden who dominated in the qoal square last season as the Full Forward has now swapped qoal squares and will run the defense as the S38 Old Boy Full Back. Harvs is only the second player to play FB at Spotswood, a position BRAB has owned since OOB entered the competition S34. With his size and intimate knowledge of the forward craft, Harvs will destroy opposition Full Forwards as he will always be one step ahead of them.

The wingmen for Harvs in the Back Pockets are King Tenz and tigerland_1720. King Tenz is a versatile player who although small in stature plays tall and will crumb the qooty when brought to ground by Harvs. tigerland_1720 in their second season has learnt their craft in the back half and has shown they can take on the oppositions second tall and ensure they don't impact on the score board.

The first line of defense the Half Back Line is filled with exciting talent which will give the opposition headaches trying to penetrate into their attacking half. myblueroan the S37 EKA winner teams up with the OOBs Captain Tigerturbulance and the thewizardmelon. The OOB Half back line boasts size, speed, aggression and qooty magic, a formable link in the Old Boys defensive chain and one that will not be broken.​

The OOB Team Selectors have been so impressed with the work ethic and knowledge that one of the newest arrivals at Spotswood has shown, they have selected Hall of Famer and the sexiest man in the SFA Dingster to be front and center of the Ophidian Old Boys on field team for S38. When asked about the former Bears selection Old Boys Coach 'Snake' Plissken stated "The center is the heart of the team and pivotal in controlling our game plan and tempo. Having a 506 gamer and player of Dingsters caliber in the center ensures the Old Boys will maintain their game structure and have first use of the qooty, really excited to see what he can do."

Flanking the sexiest man in the SFA is the S34 EKA winner pocket rocket Mrs Turbo. When asked about Mrs T's selection on the Wing 'Snake' commented, "For the purpose of ensuring our Captain Tigerturbulance has some peace at home it was decided that putting Mrs T near Dingster would make her very happy and thereby give Turbo some reprieve. We are yet to see how the dynamics of having the sexiest man in the SFA in the same change room as Mrs T plays out and it is something our HR department is keeping a very close eye on."

On the other Wing the OOB Selection Committee have put their trust in the teams newest player and only rookie FreoGirl. In what at first seems a daunting position to place a rookie, Snake stated "FreoGirl's training efforts and obvious breeding pedigree has earnt her the opportunity to play in such an important pivotal role. FreoGirl has from day one shown her tenacity and desire to chase the qooty, she has an unbelievable tank on her and seems well suited for the heavy two way running required to play on the Wing."

In what has been seen a huge shake up by the Ophidian Old Boy Team Selectors for S38 the selection of the forwards has still managed to surprise many. BRAB after an outstanding State of Origin series playing forward has been recognized for his qoal kicking ability and has been taken from his traditional Full Back position and slotted up the other end of the paddock into the Full Forward role. When asked about this surprising move the coach 'Snake' Plissken said "we just couldn't ignore what BRAB was doing in the SoO, he dominated the oppositions forwards and was kicking qoals at will, we are very excited to see what he can do when the real season begins."

BRABS wingmen and playing in the Forward Pockets will be a second season player JuddgementDay and the All-SFA camel kenneyswarriors. JuddgementDay had a really good rookie season playing on the Half Back Flank and showed he could get the qooty and pass it with lazer like accuracy downfield to his team mates. The selection team are hoping he can bring that accuracy to the forward line and split the big sticks regularly. kenneyswarriors will be a real headache for the opposition, teams will struggle to match up with this big unit who can pack a huge kick off all four hoofs.

The selectors have gone for some real mongrel and experience with DemurePrincess, Robertio and Irish BlueBagger on the Half forward Line. This combination will ensure the qooty is always running towards the OOBs scoring end and locked in when it does. DemurePrincess has been spending her off season doing some extra training at Banhammer Prison and is expected to come back harder and meaner than ever before. Robertio as VC for the Old Boys has great leadership qualities and will ensure the Half forward line maintain their pressure on the qooty and the opposition. Irish BlueBagger loves nothing more than hurting the opposition and will ensure the opposition defenders think twice before trying to stop the OOB qoal attack.

Tigerturbulance the team Captain was very excited by this formable forward half when spoken to at training on Monday, "the forward half is filled with multiple All-SFA and BOOB winners, it is going to be impossible for the opposition to match up to this quality lineup. I'm really excited for the Old Boy fans as they are going to see some really high scoring wins this season."
