We have to go with a new captaincy model next year. It’s a massive issue. Once it’s taken off Luke it makes the dropping him decision so much easier and we can give it to someone who actually deserves it

I thought Noble made the same mistake leaving Ziebell as captain, thereby ensuring what should have been a selection decision into 'club in crisis' event

Dont have a problem playing an onfield leader ie hodge at brisbane - but lmac isnt that guy. Have go be an amazing coach on the field type. Shiels is that guy and performs st a much higher level tbh.
If we are about performance and we have to be, he should play vfl. It will be hard but if he is a leader, he will cop it and perform to be picked again.

Same with Corr. Other teams have done this - everyone gets over it. Lyon dropped del santo etc.
atm, lmac cant play northball style. He cant be at hb. He needs to learn a new role or its over. (Its over).
But, maybe he learns defensive forward. Play on sicily, stewart, lever etc and f50 tackles etc. that could show leadership. Also, no way can he go on-ball for many reasons. So not many options.

Just because a player has been signed up for far longer than he should have is no reason to keep him in the team. It's really the AFL's money that we've squandered that could have been better used by us to either get another player or spread around to our more better performers. Just send LMAC and Stephenson and CCJ to see out their contracts in the VFL and give more deserving players a go at the top level.

Not sure the solution is that simple given payments due under contracts and salary cap.

I would much rather play Ford in that role:

1. He has proven he can do it in the last 12 months.

2. He has 10 times the intent and passion.

3. He can actually be an offensive threat.

4. He knows how to not fumble the ball.

5. He can keep his feet.

Imagine being Zane Duursma. You just pinpointed a brilliant handball through traffic into this guy's lap and he just drops it. I don't even know what he brings to the team. The skills aren't there. The athleticism is nonexistent. There's nothing between the ears. The place lost its soul while he was one of the leaders, so why is he trusted to be one of the leaders to help the club regain it? The faster he gets sent to the glue factory the better.

To be fair, he expected the handball to be at his feet and just behind him like it would have from most other players so he had no thoughts about actually having to take possession.

Ziebell actually led, and really apart from his final year was performing to high-elite level.

I hold out hope that McDonald is not undroppable.

He should be out this week, but will probably get another game because (1) he's only 2 games back from injury, so they might feel that he is working into it (personally, I don't buy that for a second), and (2) there are a few in the gun before him - Stevo, Stephens, Corr and Tucker - and they're all "senior" players. I suspect we'd like the message sent by dropping all five, but not the outcome.

Frank, I’ve never had a problem on Tv or Phone with it. We are on 110mbps download so whether that has something to do with it.

I can get it to work through chrome cast off the phone but the router and the modem need to be reset and nothing else can be used. 52mbps down and 19 up. Works fine. As soon as the tin lid or the cheese n kisses jumps on anything, game over.

Works fine on the smart tv but I never get to use the loungeroom as its an extension of the kids bedroom.. FML

30 years on regional has super fast cable to the house and appears better than some city areas

Frank, I’ve never had a problem on Tv or Phone with it. We are on 110mbps download so whether that has something to do with it.

For me on 110MB/s it had been perfect until recently, when the 4k logo began to appear as a watermark. The TV is 4k so everything should work fine but (a) we get a second or so of buffering every 5 minutes or so and (b) the image is nowhere near the same as genuine 4k content viewed from other sources.

Today, if they turn up I'm getting the fibre install completed (ordered in November last year but delayed because twice, NBN scheduled the tech to come on days when I had surgery and each time the rescue was a month further out and once because the tech wouldn't install the box where I wanted it).

I used to get Kayo for free occasionally and at a discounted rate but those days are in the past. Now I just cop it sweet with a positive attitude and if it buffers then so be it, as I suspect that problem is at the server end not at my end.

They changed stream providers from stream motion to some other company. I believe thats where all the issues lie.

I would probably check your Wi-Fi to ensure it has dual band.

It makes a huge difference in terms of reliability and speed without choosing to go with ethernet (although most houses can only do 100 mbits best case through powerline).
