Seriously, that footage is a pisser. Gotta love the passion.

Not too surprised it was going to be him or McKenzie and considering McKenzie has played a couple with the vest he was due a full game in AFL or VFL.

Shame but still tipping him to kick his first in the second half!

I was frustrated that he came into the game and went straight into the back 6. Surely that was a perfect opportunity to throw him on the wing.

His kicking was deplorable.

This probably isn't gonna be an overly popular view but ever since round 1 Luke's been playing safe/cautious don't wanna make a mistake footy. Some might say that is the sorta footy you want from a defender but Luke's an offensive weapon and that's why he is in the side.

I remember the practice games Luke played earlier in the year, he played a lot more instinctive and with flare. A lot easier to play like that in practice games I suppose.

I wanna see more attack from Luke for the rest of the season.

Need to get him up the ground imo. Get him on a wing.

I think the backline suits him.

He is playing solid footy down there! His competitiveness and good decision makes it the perfect position to learn this AFL caper! While he has ha made the odd clamber and been caught out (chapman) a few times, overall he is growing into his position!

No need to move him to midfield or a wing this early in his career. He might have the tank but doesn't have the body just yet to get the best out of him in that position!

Leave him at half back for 2-3 seasons and let him develop his offensive game while building his body! Once dal, wells and co have less midfield time McDonald can develop in there!

I can't wait to see him on ball. He's hoing to be one of those rare tall inside/outside players.
