McAdam was right at the start of my time following North, but I'd struggle to name many more accomplished first year players at the club in the last 20 years. He was unreal in the third quarter.

I don't want to be a wet blanket or anything, and I ******* love Luke, but his disposal could be a bit more tidier. Great game though.

Adrenaline I reckon - tries to kick the living jesus out of it. Although that off balance 50 metre pass to Anthony (who didn't break stride) in the third was outrageous.

First time we've released him to the midfield. Did not adjust well in the first half but was huge in the 2nd. One of the more influential players in the 3rd quarter.

He is a very good back pocket but he showed last night he'll be an even better midfielder. His second and third efforts are Fyfe like

4 minutes left in the second, trips Breust on the boundry.

Very very smart.
I was right behind it. Luke lunged for the tackle with arm out couldnt make it so disguised the trip as him falling down. Saved us a goal. Love it. Best free given away ever.

Loved his game last night. Influenced the game as opposed to just stopping his man from influencing it.
Yeah his second and third efforts were sensational. I thought he was pretty good watching the game from ground level, but after seeing the replay this arvo
I re-evaluated that.

He was fantastic.

Yeah was awesome game, best yet I agree. He was throwing his body around on the 3rd hunting the ball like a inflight jz. You can just see he's going to be a much needed inside/outside mid in the future. He may be the guy that trains with the midfield this pre seaon.
