My opinion is the same, that Cox will be a back 6 player and should be playing there now but its not always feasible

Obviously the people in charge who have far more knowledge than we do, still see him as having some capabilities in the middle of the ground

Im not sure playing Montgomerie on a wing with onball stints and N.Cox down back is the answer

Same as Ridley... Played forward as a junior, back injury after drafting, spent some time in the VFL on a wing and then had a break out year as a tall intercept defender in his 4th year when he won the Crichton.

I've seen a few people speak about having doubts on this guy and I admit I've had similar thoughts, but imagine the kid himself, he'd have massive doubts in his body and ability to play the game, his confidence would've been shattered after the injuries and lack of playing time, he needs to start to believe again, to build himself up, it seems he took a positive step this week, onwards and upwards big fella.

Maybe we should turn Reid into a fwd to balance the ledger a little.

To be fair (fingers crossed) hes put together a solid amount if games and training now. Talking quantity not necessarily quality

Will probably take a bad loss or two and finals to be really on the fringe for him to get a gig ahead of a Kelly or Heppell in the back 7

Watched the replay of the vfl tonight. Man was his last qtr impressive, made an impact at both ends of the the ground. Some really good 1 percenter plays that went along way to helping the team get a win. No doubt this guy has a huge future, hope he can find his way back into the seniors in a couple of weeks.

Think he still needs a few more games under his belt before he’s coming up for selection. But he’s well and truely back on the right path to senior footy.

Yep. At least a serious one-to-one conversation with the coach.

You need to start playing this kid now. He’s had his conditioning period and he’s too valuable to not get games in to. He will get involved enough because his tank enables him to get to places others don’t especially if he’s on late as others tire.

Tsatas to join him in a week or 2 and Reid in a year or 2.

Considering Cox has barely played any forward and Scott mentioned Weid giving us a bit in the ruck and nullifilying Aliirs influence...i wouldnt think so
