Geez, conspiracy theories around ball tracking are sure to abound. First the Lyon one, then Boland.
A technician decides which precise frame the ball makes contact with the pads. Not an umpire.

Umpiring has always been crooked in the sport of cricket, and it always will be until the human element is removed from the game.

Bairstow in a year or two.

Have a go at the score right now and compare it to the discussion of each teams performance in this match. If you're just listening to the discourse you'd think the scorecard read like this match from last week where England are Bangladesh and Australia are Afghanistan:

Bairstow was a long way forward to be fair. Different to Smith.
Fairness is what people who have been brainwashed by the ICC say.

Only 26 scored in the last 10 overs.

“Bazball (but we’re a little concerned)”
Throws the entire “philosophy” in the bin doesn’t it. Attacking at all costs and progressing the game as quickly as possible isn’t always viable. That’s test cricket.

Absolutely no chance this stays long term. They’re already being forced to concede and regroup and this is the flattest and slowest pitch I’ve ever seen. Next series in Aus will be the end of it. It works when you have the initiative but as soon as it gets challenged it falls to bits

This hasn't been the case for years.

Bodyline in the 30's

'Fungus infected' pitch in '75 when Chapellis men were allover the Poms...match abandoned, ashes retianed by england. Curious.

Doctored pitches for decades

Now doctored DRS.... At least they are moving into modern day cheating...
Head and shoulders the biggest cheats in world cricket.

Was at the ground for the whole 5 days in 2005 for “that” game and can say from personal experience that the crowd are madder than cut snakes, they are quite aggressive and agro too. Great game but I was glad I was in a group because the “lads” were very scary at times not like the English crowd at the other grounds.
