As a punter while $8 appears good value for the draw, risking your hard earned on weather forecasts is not a particularly wise undertaking.....I'm not a huge betting man but I feel like that is excellent value

Yeah, this feels a bit like April/May 2020 againAs a punter while $8 appears good value for the draw, risking your hard earned on weather forecasts is not a particularly wise undertaking.....
Apparently our girls are facing a similar benign shocker for their Test match on Thursday this time at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. So now we have female Pomball, is catching next we'll have the over 60s Pomball.
Such is the beauty of Test CricketIt's a real shame the rain didn't hold off for at least another hour or so late on Day 3.
They looked completely lost the moment the conditions weren't 100% batsman friendly.

They have a fair head start on us as we still look somewhere between reluctant and willing, that positivity is missing at this early stage. Only Travis Head looks like he'd fit into their aggressive mode of play.Sadly, not sure we have the temerity to be bold like England have been.
The Poms effectively had 3 x 50 run partnerships, so far we have had 1 - 4th innings run chases are usually won by teams who have a major partnership that does the bulk of the work.Warner was looking good shame he knicked off at that stage the poms looked very flat another 20- 30 from them would have almost flattened England.
Shame that Smith and Marnus both failed , feel like the poms will be up and about knowing both in the sheds but still 174 should get chased down with Head Green and Carey to come.
Need Boland to be annoying and hopefully he can get another 10-15 himself really puts the pressure on England if it gets under 150 with Head coming in he could really take the game away from them quickly.
Hopefully we don’t see Green or Carey in with anymore than 90 to chase down.
Bolands 13 runs already could be the difference maker considering how inept the tail looked in the first innings. 10 more runs from him is gigantic if he somehow pulls that off.
I’ve made it to tea every night. I’m out the door at 6:30am for work thoughAshes already taking it's toll me, been so tired in the mornings, if we're looking like winning though, might have to stay up..
First session rained out but one interruption would be ideal. Get that ball soaking wetBest case is if the 1st session is rained out and then we start batting in the afternoon uninterrupted as the sun comes out. Stopping and starting under overcast conditions will be very tough.
Best case maybe for a draw I cannot see us scoring 170 odd in a sessionBest case is if the 1st session is rained out and then we start batting in the afternoon uninterrupted as the sun comes out. Stopping and starting under overcast conditions will be very tough.
Its going to be wet in the morning ....I can see the first session washed out and the wet outfield being an issueUnfortunately see it going one of two ways tonight:
Overcast and we get rolled for about 180.
Nice weather and we fall between 1 and 30 runs short. Just always feels like we lose these scenarios. But fingers crossed we somehow get there. Would write whoever manages the chase into the history books
