I really couldn't say. Apparently against the eagles hawks bought 1800 alloted tickets.. so I think $5K might be a stretch. Really not sure.
It does appear that all Hawthorn allocated seating is at the city end and the pocket to the right, which is less spread out than last time.

Yeah a lot here just aren't making the Journey due to the $$$$$$$, I'm coming over with 4 others though.

Umm, is anyone actually going to this game?? Very little talk of ticket gloating.. At least the WA Hawks FB page is going off with lots of barcode sharing and seating blocks/numbers.
Got my tickets this morning, whole family is going, we have been travelling for over 3 months around centre and west oz, we arrive in Perth tomorrow and set of for melbourne after the preliminary, and be back in time for the GF. Have missed not getting to any games so I have A lot of barracking to catch up on.

Did anyone else hear that flog of flogs Stevo on Game Day yesterday saying that he wanted Freo to win the flag BECAUSE ROSS LYON DESERVED ONE?!?!?
Newsflash, dickhead - these things ARE NOT just handed out because YOU think someone deserves it - like respect, IT HAS TO BE EARNED!
Rant over!

You get a flag, and you get a flag! Everybody gets a flag!

I wish i could afford to go over.
ditto. priced it on Friday night after the game, and wouldn't have much change if any from $3k for 3 people return from canberra :(

Gutsy.. That said, I booked my flights to Melbourne for GF weekend, months ago. TO see family and friends, of course. But if it so happens that Hawthorn is playing at the MCG on that weekend I'm in Melbourne, I'll go. But officially my trip is to see family and friends.

Ive already started to think about whats its going to be like having frothies on the corner hotel rooftop from 10am GF day, we must beat the Dockers this week.

Just tell your friends and family you are busy now.

Wouldn't mind some sort of defensive tag/ plan for Johnson. Perhaps Shoenmakers if he stay's in, could potentially make him more accountable going the the way.

I remember the game and thought after the loss that we had the premiership.

Hawks came out exactly like earlier in the year and flogged them, but then it was like Hawks took their foot off the pedal. Almost like they thought 'yeh we got Freo covered' and then didn't care for the win.

If the boys are up for 4 quarters, and Hodges reaction after the first goal on Friday suggests they are, then Hawks give themselves a massive chance in this game.
That was awesome (Hodgeys 1st goal celebration).

This enthusiasm and excitement seems to have been missing for quite a few of the boys.

Now is a great time to get it happening.

Go you good things.

Won't they notice your missing? :)

NO CHANGE

I don't think we should risk Gunstan and I think Schoey deserves to stay.
Hale was only subbed on Friday night to get him through (like Bailey was in 2013) so he should stay. He pays well against Sandilands.
My only query is Hartung. If in he should be sub. We could include Langford for Hartung as sub to give some midfield grunt later in the game.

Nup the sub needs to be a line breaker. I think hartung has this role stitched up. If Langers comes in will be for Suckling. Other than that, only change would be Gunston for Schoey.

Hale was also directly responsible for one of hodges goals and involved in others.
I think people need to actually watch hale, not read stat sheets
Yeah I was surprised reading Hale's stats at the end of the game, played better than they suggest. Gunston in for Hale would be an interesting move though.

I am reasonably confident that we were jolted out of that BS patchy form against the Eagles and will put in a good effort on Friday, but beating Freo at that crappy stadium is going to take a special effort. Freo are not going to roll over and die, and our game plan is not suited to Subiaco at all, so I don't expect anything but a grind. I really hope we can blow them away early, because the longer they hang around, the more the crowd will come into play, and that is where it will get tricky.

Realistically.....if Langers was fit and in form he would be totally wasted as a sub.
