Hunt is the one imo, and he's a relatively aggressive opener

Clarke was a terrible captain. Yes he had some good tactics but his man management was diabolical. Oh and he somehow let dhoni make 224.

Taylor was great at both tactics and management however Ponting was the best man manager of the lot. By far.

Clarke was very successful in getting our really ordinary team back to no.1. Managed a 4-0 against India, 5-0 against England, won the World Cup. Really turned the side around. Can't do that unless man management was going. Probably even more important tactics if you want blokes ton play for you. Ponting, tactically, was up there with the worst we had. Once guns retired he managed nothing. Reason why they sacked him for Clarke.
