Marnus, smith and head all gotta go imo

Time to actually make some changes to this team
Just looking at Head's past 17 Test innings, only 1 score over 50, that was 119 v West Indies last summer, and yet leading up to this series he only played 1 Sheffield Shield match. With all this "management" of players, I don't think CA has the slightest clue what they're doing.

Pitch will be starting to play up late today. Good chance we get rolled for sub 100 second dig. Players are flat as pancakes in the field and have at least 4 more hours in the sun.

I'd probably bat 30 minutes or so tomorrow morning toonif I were india
I don't know if I'm being overly pessimistic, but I fully expect another embarrassing batting collapse in the 2nd innings. You'd like to think with so many bats playing for their careers, they'd pull out something special, but I can't see it.

Yet we can’t call out the prep and yet smith’s prep was worse not to mention Marsh barely playing. Any surprise Carey looks the most in form when he played every Shield match before the test?

People underrating the pitch, tbh.

Was doing so much first 4 sessions, then has really flattened up. Not to say Aussie and Indian bowlers didn’t play well first 4 sessions, but there’s nuance here.

I fully expect India will make the most of these conditions for another 2-3 sessions before we start seeing the cracks break up. If Australia struggle with that, it’s still not panic stations - just the beauty of test cricket.
