But your spot on
It's harder to get out of the team then getting in. As our selectors are a boys club
Hahahaha dumb country to be honest nothing on news on impending West provoked nuclear war like a small outback town is Australia all the headlines will be about our overpaid cricketers playing like swamp insects

Labs has to go, he's got time to go back to shield and do a county season and get his confidence back. Still young enough to be around long term but him staying in the team will do him more harm than good currently. Looks shot.

McSweeney should be given at least till boxing day and should go to 3. I actually think he'll be fine. Bumrah was bowling nukes in the 1st and this evening was about the worst situation imaginable for a debut opener. Tough start for the kid, it's not his fault he was selected to open because no one else picked themselves.

This leaves a huge issue for the selectors but they've dug this grave themselves. Harris probably makes the most sense but you could put Head there and fit Inglis in somehow.

What a ****ing embarrassment, team that’s been sniffing it’s own farts for too long and no accountability because because the coaching panel is one big boys club.

Agree. Scintillating cricket by India. The batting line up will cop their fair share, but to be honest as someone who has played and coached a lot of cricket, the difference in the seamers is what has concerned me the most. Siraj and bumrah look to be playing on a completely different wicket to Cum, Hoff and Starc.

And this compounds the batting woes as such is test cricket. Being unable to break partnerships because your bowling is tepid, just means your bats are sun baked and exhausted by the time they are supposed to mount something monumental against a savage India pace trio.
I think Hazelwood was pretty good overall but Starc and Cummins have had absolute stinkers

By the time you wrote this reply, I had already edited my post and recognised I f*cked up, misread your point. My bad.

And I agree with your actual point. I would drop Marnus before Smith.

ha ha sorry :p

They won a WTC and World cup in the last couple of years.

So you are wrong

Nobody is saying they've been complete sh*t, but a champion team wins away test series regularly, rarely loses at home/draw home test series vs bunnies. This team has won some championships, but it is not a champion team.

They have a level of undeserved arrogance that is ridiculous considering how poor they are compared to past Australian sides.

The worst I have seen us play, to be in the position we are in.. in Perth of all places? This is supposed to be our bread and butter, fast and pacy tracks. Nobody in our top 6 has looked like consistently being able to get it off the square. Once upon a time the BCCI insisted they don't have to play in Perth. They'll be lining up to play again next time around, what a demolition job.

India, England and South Africa all capable of beating us at home.

Pakistan had their chances against our A team in 2 of the tests last summer and West Indies did draw a series with our A team

Please those mugs play 5 test series every few years and their last test win here came 13 years ago when we were at our lowest.
