ESSENDON duo Jason Winderlich and Courtenay Dempsey are on track for a Round 1 return, according to football manager Paul Hamilton.

"They're both progressing well, we're happy with how they're going."

Interesting pre-season information. Always knew Stanton was a great athlete, but good to see Crameri up there with him. Thought Melksham would have taken out boxing. Would love to see him and NLM in a friendly match.

The Bombers are set for both the sun and the sand, as the club holds a week-long pre-season training camp on the Gold Coast from today


Anyone know where we are training on the GC?

Just so happens I'm flying over there 2moro for a 2 week holiday. Would be great to watch the boys train.

Despite the fact that Jetta should be impacting games more often considering his talent, he still kicked 27 goals (1.2 goals pg) and averaged 15 touches a game - not elite by any stretch but still decent enough.

Would love to see him more in the midfield, one of the best field kicks in the side.

Fumbling cant handle pressure Jetta, would hate to see how he goes in finals. One of those players that doesnt look like he will rise to the big occassions more the player that wont want the footy in his hands.

Give Colyer another 3 preseasons and give him the chance as a small forward, give him games and i think he will be having more impact than Jetta would be at the same time.

He's in the middle of a weights session so he's "got his pump on", but it's hard not to get excited about that!

Heppell's still fairly skinny, but he looks a lot stronger in the back and chest. Great signs.

actually saw heppell up close and had said gday to him at stereo a couple weeks ago, defs looks like he's putting some noticeable size on

He is in the wrestling video. I needed a second take because he has a crew cut and was on his knees so size wasn't noticeable.
