I like big strong blokes who don't mind handing out the occasional don't argue - one way or another. Then again I would.

So I like Casboult/Rowe and the muscled up White - haven't seen Watson play for a long time I am hoping he gets some bastard into him because all good defenders need that stuff.

Still waiting for Watson's break-out year, Jeremias. Will it be late 2014? 2015? 2016? Or perhaps never...

Many were announcing exactly that before he broke his toe against The Western Bulldogs late last year.

Could easily have been playing ahead of Rowe right now, but them's the breaks.

Casboult is a very important cog to our forward structure. I believe our talls work best with 3 talls. Waite, Henderson and Casboult. At years end we must find a replacement for Waite. We suddenly look alot more dangerous with a quality medium tall in Menzel. And midfielders rotating through the forward line. Thomas, Gibbs and co.

Tbh I can't fault Rowe. Has been highly effective and has demonstrated thus far he is capable of playing on the premier tall forwards. Our best Key Position Player this year. White however I'm still not sold on. Although Jamo's been playing 3rd tall. I just think White position would be better for a McInnes or Watson. With a better offence.

He's had 3.5 years on an AFL list and can't get a game, despite very little competition. Do we give him 4 years or 5 or 6? Remembering that Mitchell, McCarthy, Duigan and Laidler are all gone from the club. All have disappeared under Malthouse, despite being recruited in the same year as Watson.

A tad unfair I think. People are singing the praises of Rowe and White, and how well they've been doing down back, and now to say that Watson has had "very little competition"... well, clearly he has had competition!
If Rowe, White and Jamo weren't working so well together as our defensive talls, I have no doubt we'd have seen Watto having another spell in the side by now.

What would you guys expect in a trade for Lucas and Garlett individually?

West Coast would have picks 10, 28 and 46 as things stand (before priority picks etc). Would I be right saying pick 28 is about right for Lucas but you'd want something between 10 and 28 for Jeffery?

Or would you say Carlton would want more mature players, like McGovern and McInness, who probably fit the profile of what you're after (as far as I understand it, you'd like KPPs) while having a few years of list experience?

I'm not trying to get into a player value debate/troll session, I'm just curious to find out how these guys are rated.

On current form, if we could get a pick 28 for Jeffy, I'd take it. When he is at his best I think pick 10 would be fair compensation for him. If he were to leave this year via trade, I'd expect an early second round pick. How about we give you both for say... I don't know... Kennedy?

dont get me wrong, the amount of shit that is printed in the herald sun outweighs the facts

Cameron needs to be absolute top priority, as well as Patton
one of them will get fed up of being the second or third string with boyd around

can we not just wait until 2015 when his contract expires and offer him a mega deal, without losing anybody?

I'd give him a million a year on a 5 year deal and give GWS our 1st round pick, swap our second for their third and our third for their fourth.

They wont want a pick and a player - they need to trim the list again this year.
