Much interesting info on Plowman. I note he dislocated an elbow in his pre-draft year and dislocated an elbow in 2015. Lightening struck twice or is this a possible on-going problem we do not want to buy?

We have such a good track record with trading for injured players, so I wouldnt worry.

You were asking a question about your account. The best people to talk to about that would be the ones that maintain the database and can investigate any happenings with your account. Posters on BigFooty don't have the database files and don't have any way of checking what may have happened to your profile. Agree. Rowe NOT Jamo has been our biggest disappointment in defence this season. Just has no reactionary speed, awareness and is dropping marks a pre-schooler has no trouble with. Wouldn't be surprised if Sam is delisted.

Looks like we may have lucked out, Collingwood pulled out of the Kruezar deal when GWS told them there first and Witts isnt enough for Treloar, Richmond will now offer 2 x first round picks for Treloar... one of those picks was supposed to be for Yarran but will now no longer be there..

So I would suspect that we keep both Kruezar and Yarran and hope Yarran does enough to either earn band 1 compo next year or even better be offered a new deal to stay at CFC and prove all the doubters wrong.

Trade to Geelong: Hendo & 20 for 8 + 28(may be pushed back to 3rd round)
Trade to Richmond Yaz + 38 for 12+ 68
Trade to Essendon 12 for Carslile
Trade to GWS 28 for Plowman (probs unders for them)

GAIN: Carslile, Plowman
LOSE: Hendo, Yaz

Picks 1, 8, 56, 68, 74

pretty much trading hendo & yaz for carslile and plowman = happy
and 8 & 68 for 20 & 38 = happy

Or id just keep 12 and draft A KPF

Plowman and Carlisle look like the ones.

Expectations fall already.

Potential outs:

Kreuzer - no tier one compo, probably staying.
Yarran - Tigers not offering much. Bolton wants to keep. Contracted. Probably staying.
Henderson - definitely going but first rounder looks very shaky. Maybe not the windfall we were hoping for.
Bell - unsure. May stay. If he goes, second rounder at best.
Menzel - all gone quiet. Contracted. Likely staying.

Potential ins:

Carlisle - unlikely to get in PSD, Bombers want mid first rounder. We are not likely to give up more than #20 which is probably needed for Hendo trade.
Aish - apparently doesn't want to come to us.
Green - not sure of his worth. 70 games, 97 goals. Could be a genuine PSD chance. Position of need.
Plowman - A real chance but at what price? Where is our currency here? Probably offer #20 but then we have no chance of getting #9 from Geelong without doing a switch of second rounders at least.
Phillips - will cost bugger all.
Bugg - ?
Lamb - what ... a 5th rounder?

Seems to me we are lacking second rounders or late first rounders. If we did get #9, would we use it in the draft or change it into two picks that would secure Carlisle and Plowman?

I just can't see us forcing one of these two into the PSD.

Simply don't have the currency. Carlisle and Plowman would be more than useful. Green fills a need. Not too worried about the rest. Bugg would be good too but it was a very loose association and he will be in demand.

That would be a decent outcome for us. I'm not sure we will get first rounders for Yazz and Hendo though and #28 is not enough for Plowman. Essendon will take #12 for Carlisle and run. I'd try to get a second or third rounder back with that.

All bets are off if we can't get top picks for Hendo and Yazz. I would keep Yazz in that case, but would want to find the picks for Plowman.

Henderson & Menzel for pick 8 and Josh Walker is probably not far from being about right. Henderson not worth puck 8, and Walker is well under for Melzel but combined its almost fair... some who rate Menzel high will disagree but IMO he has done nothing to show he is capable of being an AFL standard player yet.

Rookie list player so didn't really have the stand out junior career others had. 35 goals in 33 games over 4 years. Got a good run at it this year with Clark missing a lot and only managed 19 goals from 16 games with 9 of those against Brisbane and Gold Coast. He's only a 1.5 contested marks a game tall as well.

Just feels like other teams offcuts, much like Liam Jones and we are stuck with that contract for a while. Doesn't seem to have the pedigree to be a part of a genuine rebuild which kind of makes him redundant. Probably would rather stick with Casboult and Watson if we can't get Jaksch up as a forward.

I don't think Menzel has slipped quite that far. Disastrous year though.

I am not sure on Walker either. One thing I did read though he has excellent endurance so could play a type of Crameri role...I think we will probably have a game based around two medium talls and big i.e. Everitt, Josh Walker and Casboult as the big.

The biggest concern for me about Walker is that Brad Scott doesnt rate him enough that he thought it necessary to go and get Mitch Clark, Rhys Stanley and now Lachie Henderson to ply a role that looks ideal for someone like Walker.
