Yarran isn't a good which is functionally the same as the other players.
Market analogies don't really work in trade week. Each player is a distinct resource whose value is determinable by negotiation between seller and buyer. If multiple buyers exist some aspect of competition emerges, but it is not infrequent there is only one legitimate buyer and there is always only one legitimate seller.
I think your saying that the value goes down when there is only one buyer and, whilst this is true, it is counterbalanced when the seller isn't forced to the marketplace.
