It is an absolute sure thing if he gets to hawthorn that Essendon will be paying a fair chunk if his wage. Fair play to Hawthorn if they get him, saints could have had him now if we wanted him badly enough.

As he doesn't have a contact wth Essendon in 2016 they can't pay any of his salary. That can only occur when a contracted player is traded.
