If James Frawley nets a first round pick as compo then Luey has to net the same, simple. Frawley has never been anything more than a serviceable defender at best. If they are going to run with this free agency compo thing (which is ridiculous as there should be no compensation for out of contract players) then atleast be consistent.

Pardon intrusion - some ITK hawk supporters believe he is on as little as $550k p.a. - so yes leuy would net you at least an end of round 1 (as long as he doesnt have another major injury hiccup)

Then the Hawks should of got 4 first round picks for Buddy. No doubt the Afl had backdoor dealing with Melbourne to get them pick 3, after their PP demand was rejected.

The AFL claim that the pick compensation is based on a points system that only takes into account the age of the player and the size and length of the contract. I don't think they are meant to take into account anything else like previous accolades.
