I see Jackson Paine is de-listed on the AFL site, I didn't see a Lions announcement on that, i must have missed it. So I make that 9 off our primary list ?

He's been moved on to our rookie list, or at least will be once the appropriate drafts have been done.

There is a contract on the table for Rich and Martin. Circa 500K. I believe both will wait.
Twitter q and a the other night someone asked him about new contract soon and reply was all in good time, plenty to run on the current one

Zorko, and he is managed by Pickering.

Expect a re-signing announcement on Zorks very soon. He's going nowhere.

He isn't managed by Pickering by the way. He's in the Stride Sports stable. Pretty sure he is Adam Hall's client.

That's great news. The club would be seriously hoping for him to make the step up to elite level this year.

Apologies, misread a Herald Sun article while I was googling about his contract.

Gotta chuckle at the AFL website regarding O'Brien's axing.

"prolific"

Off topic, but stumbled across a great journalistic quote just before.

"Jack Redden is a straight swap for Matt Rosa on a wing, but adds pace, as well as an outstanding ability to tackle, to the Eagles."

No one knows absolutely anything about our Lions.

On the herald sun website they confused a photo of Zorko for Redden. Maybe this is the confusion.

I look forward to the Lewis Jetta writeup. "Adds toughness and ability to win contested ball in the middle."

Loves to take a high flying grab and is a quick decision maker too.

I'm not really sure where I should comment this as I can't make threads yet but it s**** me to tears how poorly we are thought of by the afl community. That thread on the main board with 2016 ladder predictions has probably 90% of people placing us in the bottom 2 and even some with the audacity to place us as wooden spooners... I know this shouldn't get me down but I can't wait for us to improve next year and prove everyone wrong!
I feel so offended by everyone on the main board

Where would you expect them to rate the team that finished second bottom this year?

I think we'll be a better performed side next year and hope to see us rise up the ladder a few more spots, but in reality we could be just as likely to remain in the bottom 2. Not so much for poor performances, but the other sides that finished in the bottom 5 or 6 like St Kilda and Melbourne look like they're on the improve and with solid additions to their roster. If we can finish above Carlton, Essendon and the Gold Coast I'll be happy enough.

I think it would be a disaster if we were to finish below the Saints.

They are not good. They were able to send out pretty stable, experienced teams most weeks after a rocky start to the season, and so they outperformed most of the struggling teams, but their list is still in a bad way.
