Yep. Last two weeks it's been "it's not what Charlie does, it's how he brings the other forwards into it" and this week it's "at least his defender doesn't mark it."

He is the Invisible Man of footy.

And during the week Ken was ecstatic about how his team mates just love to play with him

That's good. Shame he doesn't make a difference to the result though

This time last year we were hearing what a good bloke Butcher was and how his team mates love being around him. Having about the same impact as good old Charlie is atm

Port have to win 7 out of their last 10. Cant see them making finals.

Looking at their draw, they should win 5 at least. The other 5 are Hawthorn, Us and GWS all at home, Sydney and North away. It's possible for them to win 7 of the last 10. I don't think that it will be enough to make the 8 though.

If we had Ryder...

If we did this... If we did that. **** they're hilarious. Some even complaining about not having Lobbe desptie the fact he was dropped :D

Shades of Sando.."we could beat Swallow if only we had one of those defenders who are sitting back in Adelaide right now.."

I know they won but, geez the Dogs looked hopeless for a good two quarters in total there.

Port got less today on a perfect afternoon than us last week on a cold, windy Sunday twilight match. ******* lol.

Loved the Port fan on the main board during the week who was having a go at posters who had Port's crowd at anything less than 45k.

It should be a simple choice for Rooch. It's either:

a) their massive membership numbers are non-existent or
b) their members don't go to Port games if they might lose.

Pick one Michaelangelo.
Or both, which is the true answer. ;)

Just did, to find out how Fireman Kane is coping.

And heard: "Well, the thing is about Charlie Dixon is he is rarely outmarked."

So they've got a huge marking forward, who is paid a shitload of money to mark the footy, and now his big strength is his opponent doesn't mark it either.
KC is seriously deluded here and with his previous comments about Tex he's painted himself in a corner for the sake of having something controversial to say. Sure it might be good for ratings but at the expense of your integrity? Hmmm

Since moving to Adelaide Oval we've had more people through the gates from 3 less games.

Their average attendance has dropped off by 5,000, ours started at 48,000 and remains at 48,000 (theirs was never that high).

They also have the 11 lowest Adelaide Oval attendances.

But yep they've overtaken us.

Time for a "Port fans, do you want your club to be more like Adelaide?" article? Rucci?

Reading this a few years on is good for a laugh...

Dixon's contested marking has got worse this year. Last year he was top four for winning one on on contests. This is why Port are now paying him key forward money. This year he has been struggling to mark unless on a midget.

Oh wait, he had Tom Lynch with him last year drawing a key defender. Carry on.
