They asked him what he thought of it

He avoided it entirely and said Koch had done a good job with KT turning the club around

Clearly avoided it and did not want to be seen giving his real opinion
Please tell me that Bass didn't resort to "the port Adelaide way" type sh*te.

The Flying Dutchman on open Mike, man he could play. One of my fave players growing up as a kid.

I miss the old style nicknames the players had as well.

Be interesting to hear his take in Essendon if the conversation goes that way.

He didn't. Was waiting to see if would

Not the type to embrace the company line, as we know, and can't imagine him ever saying anything that embraces Port as a club

Very analytical. Clearly they leave it to Ken to trot out the cliches

When Andrew McLeod was fairly young he went on On The Couch and they asked him who his favourite player was growing up. Expecting Michael Long, Nicky Winmar etc I'm sure.

"Paul Van Der Haar!" Macca answered instantly!

I don't know about you blokes, but Imo, Rance should have got equal to the punishment of Sam Day.

At least a bump is somewhat in the spirit of the game, an elbow to the back of the head most definitely isn't. Especially in today's coward punch culture, what message does that send?

"Hit them in the back of the head while their down lads, as long as you apologise everything will be fine"

**** off

Rooch was asking him about returning to the port adelaide way a few weekends ago, and bass started to say he still didn't know what the 'port adelaide way' was supposed to be, thought better of it and then just rounded out by saying 'essendon had the essesdon way too' in a very condescending tone, as if to highlight to ridiculous it actually sounded. Actually thought at the time kern would be giving him a stern word about that one.

Not one for BS is our Bass:D

All clubs use terms like Crows footy or Swans footy but it all tends to mean the same thing, winning contested ball and backing each other up

Port have said it means "tough, brave" footy which is a bit meaningless beyond the usual
