I hate the idea of a lottery. There is actually a narrative to 'worst team gets the best pick' that is part of the story of a season. When the best pick doesn't turn out to be the best player, that's part of the story too. Lottery just makes it random and meaningless. They're not going to because bad teams need the help
Which means we can't do anything about it. There's no promotion/relegation system in the pipeline. Draft lottery doesn't sound like the magic bullet.
Cows in GumbootsTop Secret on One HD. Much better than the Footy Show.
What'd he say?Anyone just see Tex throw Danger under the bus and run over him again about 5 times?
******* loved it!
Really? I think he was just making the point nobody was there to watch the exhibition game... He wasn't one of the players on the field anyway.Geez, Tex with a sly dig at women's footy there!
Basically Brayshaw asked him how he thinks Danger is going this season and Tex said he honestly hadn't watched much of him and he didn't really care to.What'd he say?
That's exactly what he was doing.Really? I think he was just making the point nobody was there to watch the exhibition game... He wasn't one of the players on the field anyway.
A little bit of bad PR, he said they wouldn't do it again.
Viva la France!Cows in Gumboots
Do you actually give a shit though? It's an exhibition game, they are the top dog and playing in the game people are there for. Sure, don't go out there and start taking shots at goal and a having kick to kick in the middle of the ground... but they were 5m inside the boundary when play was on the other side of the ground. It's not like the ball was moving at a rate of knots either. That's exactly what he was doing.
Bec made some comment about next time he could watch a bit of the game from the stands and Tex says "With everyone else who's paid for a ticket" insinuating no one.
At least it's clarified that it wasn't a mix up with times, there was no confusion about whether the players had permission to be there or not, it was purely a respect thing. Oh well, I doubt we'll do it again for any curtain raiser.
I care because it makes our players look like they disrespect women's football. Would feel the same if they swanned about on the field during an amateur league game, junior game, whatever. It's just basic courtesy.Do you actually give a shit though? It's an exhibition game, they are the top dog and playing in the game people are there for. No one was there for the women's game besides maybe family members. I'm sure the girls were happy to get so close to some AFL stars!

Dermie can be properly insightful about the game, the problem is he makes the commute to the ground in question from his home on Mars, and it can be a struggle to decode exactly what topic he's even exploring on a given tangent. What the!!!

If you're looking for someone who doesn't give a flying **** what they did, I'm your guy. (although guy is now hate speech)Do you actually give a shit though? Which is why I used the term '' held''Anthony McDonald-tipungwuti...
It was that way when I went there a good 16 years ago. They thought it made us a awesome school, but most people didn't care at all.ahahahhahaha

*for the record I believe its Banksia Park INTERNATIONAL High School these days
I keep reading the Port Power posters ratting on about how our aging membership demographic is over a certain figure.
I guess since they confidentially post this information, they must have data and can post these age segments? junior memberships (kids), 15 to 29, 29 to 42, 42 to 60 and then 60 plus.
I was wondering if anyone can post the membership age breakdown?
Can't remember where I got this from, but judging from the member numbers must be from Adelaide Oval era:
Adl Port11 gm 43668 33000
3 gm 10000 10000
other 8332 17000
