I wonder if movement on saints end is in reference to:
what we would be willing to pay at the trade table? or
how much we are willing to pay him moneywise?

You would think if freo are genuinely worried about him leaving as a FA next year they would prefer to trade him for 2 first rounders this year.

I know we spoke to his management a few months back and was told he was keen for exploring free agency. fast forward to Nathan Burke's info about Fyfe. Semi Final weekend i was told we are still very much interested in Fyfe. Then in Grand Final Week, another poster who can out themselves if they want told me they were made aware that Fyfe is keen to see what opportunities their might be in Melbourne. I have no idea of anything from then until now, but i dont think a deal will be done this trade period, would mean alot of movement from Stkildas end and a total rebuild from freo you would think if this happened.

Re steele, Deal is done. My understanding last night was it was about finalising picks. We were offered multiple options by GWS. I am led to believe Ahern was involved in one option and i dont think we were too interested. But it would of made for great discussion and great negativity for me on here if i posted this.

Koby Stevens i believe will get done - Another person with knowledge did share this last night from a different source. This one intrigues and confuses me at the same time. It means in my opinion we are slightly heavy on insiders.Maybe a move for a player?

i posted a few weeks back when plugger mentioned Mitch Brown that i had heard Nathan and still believe he is an option. I have also been made aware from a current player in the last 24 hours that there has been chatter amongst our playing group about a player leaving - they did not mention a name to me.

all in all, i love trade week - favourite time of the year(unless we play in grand final week). However the crap that comes from one of my posts takes the enjoyment of sharing it with everyone else away. So i have chosen to step away. That is why i havent posted, because i cant be bothered defending myself for the next 4 hours.

really appreciate any news any time mate. it sucks some people, for whatever reason, give you/Ghost/Brian shit for giving us some insight into what's going on, but remember there is an 'ignore' option so you don't have to deal with crap if you decide to come back and post more regularly (and please do, we miss you :D)

Working through picks/options. I wouldn't worry about Steel deal getting done, it's now more about what else we can muster.
