I think more than anything he ran out of time. Will probably be a better pick up than some other skinny 18 year old we are going to select that will get delisted within a year anyway...

Haha wtf? He was picked up in the 2009 AFL Draft, he's had 7 years, through which Fremantle have more than taken care of him and given him chance after chance to get some consistency going in the WAFL but he ends up breaking down. Not sure how he's going to be better than a healthy 18-year old who could be a gem in the later parts of the draft.

Maybe before Morabito's last knee reco, but he's held together with duct tape. He's been out of top level football so long that even if he did stay fit you'd be doubtful of his output

I am talking about Michael Barlow not Morabito.

Well, I've lost all credibility. Catch you guys later.

Fair enough. Thought he was only been around for 4 or 5 years. I looked up some of his WAFL stats and looked like he was coming back into good form before doing a quad or hammy. It looks like his knee is healed just keeps breaking down with soft tissue injuries which could be related to knee though. Besides I'm doubtful he would want to go around. I think its best he move onto his next stage of his life.

Just because ross lyon thinks he no longer fits doesnt mean hez not a good fit for us better than bastinac in my opinion
Thats not what you said tho.

Besides, not sure why you mentioned Bastinac as they are completly different players.

Don't think it is worth the hassel to bring him in, l would prefer just go to the draft we have enough experienced, slow midfielders in our team, imo

For the DFA types, Clancee Pearce and Sam Colquhoun have some appeal for mine.

I think we'll be selecting a mature small forward. Ahmed Saad comes into calculations after his good year in the VFL where he led the goal kicking but worked hard defensively, took good marks and generally provided a bit of spark.
Not if we're trying to rid ourselves of players who like their food a bit much :p

Saad IIRC has connections up here in QLD. Can't remember what it was though but I heard it on the wireless. I would love him in Lions colours and is the perfect fit.

Carlton have delisted Dillon Viojo-Rainbow, I remember him having a deadly left foot and nice hands/mark in his draft year, 2014. Somewhat surprised he didn't work out, wonder why?
His name reminds me of my favourite biscuits - Iced vo vo's.

Delisted free agent just lost vital experience in hanley and we'll have plenty picks in draft for kids I believe its worth a punt

Surprised, ditto. Would not mind giving him a go ,if there is nothing adverse there.as they say every rainbow has a silver lining.

I reckon Jarryd Blair would be a good get. Also would consider Matt de Boer.

Cos they only have so many list spots, and most of them used for players not in the best 22 are reserved for the GWS reserves.
