That is even worse than trading pick 6
call me cooked but i think we are closer than them

Jeez get a grip. Sometimes you have to make hard calls like this, yes he is a good player who we nee but on the other hand he is getting old and his calf injuries should be of concern.
If you want to feel better just remember we don't have hacks like White, Howe, sold the future for Treloar and have just offered a 32 year old a 3 year deal worth over $1m
Are you in a clown costume.Hes not home yet. Im hiding in the bushes and will let everyone know when the car pulls up in the driveway.
Reality is Lids is an unrestricted free agent next season. Im not as confident we woukd get an as good pick/ player with said pick than what we will this year.
In saying that, I can't stomach Lids leaving...
i know its dickNames not Nick.
Paying the big money for Tippett and Franklin has done wonders for the Swans. We now have 56 thousand members and have made the GF twice in three years.
We are the biggest sporting club in NSW.
Anyone else think Lennon can kick 30+ next year for us and take a shitload of marks now that Vickery is gone ?
Simple fix is reduced salary cap to sides who make finals X amount of times in X amount of years and increase those that haven't. It would be more beneficial to brisy Bears to have a higher salary cap for a few years than get an extra first round pick as that will take a few years to come to fruition. Players are getting more money hungry each year, will chase dollars of they can get it.Was always going to work that way.... It isn't an equalisation measure. In fact it's the polar opposite.
I don't mean ahead in terms of success, I mean in the timeline. Their 09,10,11 was our 13,14,15 for example. The pattern continued the same way with their 12 and our 16, the difference is they sacked their coach.

Hibberd #pick 99
Gibbs #pick 20
Fyfe #pick 17
Mayne #pick 97
Wells #pick 65
Ballantine #pick 71
McCarthy pick#66
O'Meara #pick 60
Mitchell #pick 25
So we are trading Deledio + 26 for pick 9
Deledio worth Motlop
Geelong would need to send their second our way or no deal.
Good luck getting a top four pick from our socks unless we give away Martin, Rance or Cotchin. Trading future first round selectuons is a big gamble. Our list isn't in the right shape for itDisagree, we can always trade back into 2017 if necessary.

Cue last day token 6th rounder because pies need to cull.Dan said we have looked at Marley, but aren't seriously interested
Agree but keeping Mitchell is even better imo.And tell me about the Tigers most recent GF appearance
I've been hoping Tom Mitchell would get traded for two seasons. He is an inferior player to Isaac Heeney. 20 possessions from Isaac is better than 35 from Mitchell. Add to that we have Mills (Rising Star Winner) who is also an inside midfielder and it's clear that Mitchell was surplus to requirements.
I would like to keep Nankervis but he is probably the 4th ranked ruck behind Tippett, Naismith and Sinclair.
I love watching Alex Rance play and believe he is the games greatest ever key defender. He is better than Silvagni or Scarlette. Do people agree.
No.Anyone else think Lennon can kick 30+ next year for us and take a shitload of marks now that Vickery is gone ?
