Whose to say we won't? Whose to say we won't be better off from the experience? Whose to say the players we bring in won't surpass the level of the players beforehand. I mean it's only happened pretty much every year.

I don't understand how we can improve every year despite losing players and people can't clearly see that we are elite developers of players. This is your team, how can you be so shortsighted as to our clear and present strategy.

FYI I'm not having a go at just you, this is more a rant to the multitudes of people having a meltdown today

I'm not disputing we develop players well, of course we do. We've lost Lever, Smith and probably Cameron. I am excited to see Doedee hopefully take Lever's spot. Replacing Smith is a bit harder because IMO someone like Seed/Mackay isn't the answer. Charlie is certainly replaceable but again I'm unsure if someone like Hampton/Milera are the answer.

Is that with knowledge from within the club, or just an educated assumption based on what we've seen so far?

If Seed is really to stay as a pure wingman, we could do worse than rolling Milera off the hbf. Speed, ball use and evasiveness on par if not better than Smith's.

Na Sloane would be asking for around 750k to 800k he may go for length. ie 5 years. The trick is to find work for Belinda.
M Crouch would be a big increase from about 350K to about 700K
Laird would be from 350K to 650k plus
