lol you are the worst troll, majority of Freo's best mids have been picked outside of first round

That's pretty stupid, holding our midfield up as a benchmark - we have one of the poorer midfields in the comp.

Yours though, so magnificently vanilla - and how about a few more second round doormats in a weak draft year.

Makes heaps of sense.

Anthony Miles is yet decide on acceptong a one year deal at Richmond or go as a delisted free agent .
WCE Brisbane GC interested but WCE need to declare there hand in the next week for Miles to consider .his poistion / future .
Would only be depth. Pass.

After the way Rawlings has gone about this off-season I'd be pretty disappointed if he ruined it and wasted a list spot on Miles

On a different topic, what is everyone hoping our rookie draft strategy will be?
Youngsters, mature agers or AFL discards?

Someone posted a list of players with <10 games once we bring in our 5 draftees, and it's a long list. Should we look at someone like Jarrod Garlett, who left the AFL system for quite legitimate family reasons?

Will he last to the rookie draft?

If Freos first pick is 42 why would they swoop then?

An ex top 10 pick and no interstate club will take that risk.

Its actually a shame we gave up pick 50.

I can see Freo getting Ryan with 42 and then Garlett at 62.

That can be taught, improved. What can't be taught however, is his explosive ability. And he kicks goals. Oh and WA boy.

Is there a better low risk high reward option for a late pick? I'd rather take a shot on a guy who has proven WAFL success.

Meanwhile we have AFL listed spuds playing reserves and league guys getting torched by Liam.

If he is there at 69 our 4th rounder more than happy to take him.

37 isn't a late pick and there will be plenty of highly rated players likely available. Ben Miller, one of the two 200cm rucks rates between 30 > 35 may have slid, Garlett will likely be available, we have interviewed Patmoore? several times and he isn't in the the top 35 ratings.

Thoughts on Rhys Palmer as a DFA?

I know this thought will attract a bit of flak and a fair few jokes but the question really is Palmer better depth than Hill, Wellingham or Lamb? Lamb I feel will re-sign and stay for another year and is worth being a little patient will, he just needs to grow up and mature.

Wellingham and Hill is the question.

Palmer isn't a gun but he is quick, can play HF / outside mid, has a mature body and can hit the score board. At 28 is the same age as Hill and Masten. I actually rate him higher than Masten which by Matt-Bas standards is captain material.;):D

Before people argue he's been moved on by two clubs think about which clubs. GWS two seasons ago was over flowing with first round talent demanding game time. The Blues are rebuilding and no where near contending, they to are overflowing with young first round talent.

We are bringing in a fair bit of youth so an experienced, bigger bodied and capable 28 year old as quality depth costing no pick isn't silly IMO.

Not for me. He does not bring to the team any particular qualities that we desperately need. We have a bunch of youngsters that have been starved of chances and I would rather see us giving games to our draftees rather than Miles.

Sounds contrary to the list changes and trades that we just made.

Finally, why would you want Miles getting games in 2018 ahead of Constable or Clark?

This team is so ****ing inept. From the CEO to the bitchy social media campaigner. Flying high on nepotism and friendships. Team will go ****ing nowhere for a long time whilst it's all one conservative boys club. Watch as Ah Chee and our draftees do **** all of note for their careers at WC. The recruitment staff are pure shit. The development coaches are pure shit. Bunch of ****ing useless unqualified shit campaigners running the club, what do you expect besides mediocrity? Pussies. Conservative pussies who are unable to make any 'hard' calls. Jobs for the boys, paychecks. That's all they seem to care about. This Nisbett campaigner is cancer, quicker he ****s off the better.

Gee your second post is a pretty decent vent?

What other account do you post under BTW. A Freo one maybe?

Agreed, Miles will only move for game time and we have 2nd and 3rd year players who need game time to develop plus maybe a mature bodied draftee this year.

Happy to a add semi depth / role player for free.
