Just got home. I think there is a huge gap in fitness between the squads - we just have a lot of young guys without the tank. Also be nice to have a real gamebreaker again. Other than that, think the game went as I expected. Richmond are going to have to fall over not to win it.

We are definitely not a Grand Final side yet... The fact that teams like Hawks & Pies made top 4 is a blight on how weak the field is... And unless WC can pull one out of their backside, Richmond will be handed back to back on a silver platter.

Would rather play the Dees.

I think they may get ahead of themselves like we did in 2007 if they beat Geelong.

Also if we lose it would be much less painful.

Dees are NOT that quick , where do people get this from? Our mids and HB line is quicker hence why we tore a new one into them last time in the wet! Bring IT ON!!!

Brand comes in for Stratts. It’s a good structure with a Chip & Brand & lets the rest not having to play tall.
Sicily coming in changed the defence dynamics for the worse inrecon & with Miles going out took away a runner who can kick well.
In hindsight I wouldn’t have played Cegs, kept Miles in & played Sicily forward.
We were ok but loosing when he was playing & played more consistently & winning without him.
Wait.... he is a gun but the continuity has been in the back 6 & allowed some drive off half back. I think off the wrist injury, the creative measure would to have played him forward especially with Shoey not coming up.
I would take out of last nights side Cegs & Stratts to bring in Brand & Miles. Unless it’s Melbourne.... Almost Obrien would also come in for Nash

I thought brand had taken some positive steps in the last few weeks, going for his marks and providing rebound, if he comes in then we don’t need to throw Gunston down back with Sicily playing the third tall which would give him freedom to provide rebound and overlap from defense.
We won’t miss Stratton as much .
