I can't really think of a trade for our picks or FA

Just been looking at everyone's list and seeing if what we can look at

Adelaide Rory Slone FA, Trade for Riley Knight, Mitch McGovern, Cam Ellis Yolmen, Eddie Betts & Lachlan Murphy
Brisbane Trade for Hugh McCluggage Mitch Robinson
Carlton Trade out Levi Casbolt, Jed Lamb, Sam Rowe & Sam Kerridge
Collingwood FA Alex Fasolo, Jarryd Blair Trade for Brayden Sier
Essendon Trade for Mitch Brown, Anthony Mcdonald Tipungwutie, Kyle Langford
Fremantle FA David Mundy & Trade for Lachie Neale, Darcy Tucker & Harley Bennell
Geelong FA Daniel Menzel trade for Nikia Cockatoo
Gold Coast FA Jarrod Harbrow, Michael Rischitelli trade for Aaron Hall, Jack Martin & Ben Ainsworth
GWS Trade for Dylan Sheil, Callin Ward, Heath Shaw, Tim Toranto, Daniel Lioyd
Hawthorn FA Taylor Duryea, Paul Puopolo, Ryan Schoenmakers & Brendan Whitecross
Melbourne Trade for Dom Tyson, Jayden Hunt & Dean Kent
Noth Melbourne FA Sam Wright, Trade for Ben Jacobs
Port Adelaide FA Justin Westoff Trade for Jack Hombsch & Todd Marshall
Richmond FA Reece Conca
St Kilda FA Sam Gilbert trade for Jack Steven, Jack Billings, Nathan Wright
Sydney FA Jarrad McVeigh, Nick Smith Trade for Jordan Dawson, Zak Jones & George Hewett
Western Bulldogs FA Mich Wallis, Luke Dahlhaus, Tom Liberatore Jordan Roughead Trade for Ling Jong, Kieran Collins & Jack Macrae
West Coast FA Andrew Gaff, Scott Lycett & Jeremy McGovern Trade for Jamie Crips & Chris Masten

The players I have put forward I believe that are gettable
Nice list.Do you know what the contract status on Jade Gresham is?

It goes all the way up the chain.

Assistants, medicos, fitness.

Unfortunately, given the relationship between SOS and MLG, we are unlikely to get an honest review of that department either. That's not to bag SOS , yet, but the danger is he's not held to a satisfactory standard. Lets fae it, he only got the job because MLG had to save face after rooting up when trying to get Wright from the Hawks.
Not sire how SOS is involved in This? Would be under the new footy boss's control

Someone please tell me Cripps is gonna sign on soon?? Or is just made up journalism ?? I'm bloody worried if he hasn't by seasons end!! Then he's gone!! If that's the case lock the doors for good

No idea why it matters what "company" we may fall into this year. And "Tassie"? I think you need to get a good night sleep. Zero possibilty and im surprised you've mentioned it. Zero!

So you don't think a team will be folded to make way for a Tasmanian side?
At the very least, conferences will be introduced.
Maybe you need to sleep on that?

I dont need to sleep on carlton being moved to tassie. Its ridiculous and will never ever happen

There are legitimate reasons for our decline this year.

Injuries to some key players and interrupted
Pre seasons to our recruits severely put the pressure on our young core

Last year we were in games up to our necks and not giving the opposing side an easy win. It all goes back to our injuries and the trading of Gibbs

2018 was never going to be a ladder surging year. However I expected to hold our own at the very least.

Guys like Rowe,Lamb, Mullet, Graham, won’t be getting games next year (if still in the list)

why the hell was Boekhorst delisted if we still have (or recruited) some of these other journeymen? at least he had some skills and outside speed. If fit he probably would have played every game this year. I am starting to question SOS. The moneyball picks / list fillers look like big busts. Still have very high hopes that Pickett and Marchbank will be stars, it's the supposedly cheap pick ups that could have been used on draft picks that has me scratching my head. Why was Polson's contract extended - why not at least wait till year end and see if shows a bit more.

Because he wasn’t up to it, was lazy and had a bad attitude. Do you really believe we would delist good players?

Polson has shown enough.

you're saying if he were available next Friday night he wouldn't be best 22? why delist a depth player and then recruit an inferior player to the one you just cut?

Polson has shown enough.

really?

Boekhurst? Yes that’s what I’m saying. Amazing how players get better after they have gone
he showed quite a bit in his last few matches, make a call and delist him that's fine if he has no future but don't replace him with someone who's worse. Isn't that the crux of good list management? Some of the cheap pickups have been fool's gold.

He’s gone. Move on

This year there will be anywhere between 8-12 changes that will clear out the rest of the deadwood that was simply there to help with depth in the reserves. Unfortunately no one saw the injury problems that have arisen. OShea Shaw Mullett Graham Rowe ASOS etc would have been much better leaders/examples at VFL level than Boekhurst. Character means a lot. Big Picture

Boeks body of work in the Afl was not great. If we had of signed him off the back of 3 good games we again would hear the term "bad list management". He would be playing reserves.

They guys brought in at least have a good attitude. Yes they arent up to what we had hoped, but we saw first hand how below average Boek was in the navy blue.

It really broke my heart this morning to see Carlton labeled worse than Fitzroy.
The hyenas in the media are on the loose and they are scavenging from the carcass of the once mighty Carlton Football Club.
Money talks.
As much as I have questioned North's flamboyant offers of recent years, it is the only way out for Carlton.
We will have pick 1 at the end of the year and we need it now more than ever so that we can trade in an ELITE talent.
No more bargain basement deals, no more injury riddled guys with POTENTIAL.
We need to trade pick 1 for one of the game's best mids, and then back that up with at least Wallis via free agency as an absolute minimum.
If not, then we will lose Cripps and sponsors as well.
This trade period is our most critical ever.

1. Stop reading and listening to media. They all have an agenda. Listen to the club and embrace the direction and the end goal.

2. Why is trading pick 1 the only way out? Its not

...

Why is it the only way? North haven't landed anyone and they've improved dramatically. The have improved off the back of senior players having career best seasons and their second and third tier players stepping up through experience and continuity.

Carlton is bereft of quality leaders and solid experienced players, we need to be clever with some 25-30 year old cheap pickups while our teenagers develop. There is no way top end talent are going to come to Carlton the way we are playing at the moment. We've chosen this path of a full rebuild and need to stick to it, no shortcuts.
