Actually if you did some research you will see the club has always held the BnF at the conclusion of the entire football season. From as early as I can see on the internet from 2004 until now it's always been held in October, except for 13/14' (November)

Despite it looking like tradition to do it that way now I agree I'd like to see it earlier, but to have a dig and blindly claim as if fact we had those expectations is stupid.

I guess Freo supporters aren’t used to losing good players as much as we are. We’re at the point on that thread where they call us knobs and shit for saying that demanding overs is ridiculous. Saw one guy demand picks 2 & 3 in a weird trade week with the Suns for Neale “for the fans”. Like that’s going to happen.

And as many have said, won’t hear anything until after the Freo B&F.

Yeah they are allowed to say what ever they want on their board, the constant interjections from our Guys are actually being taken well IMO, we arn't so gracious when opposition supporters flood our board with rebuttals. Yeah maybe, still don't know if the BNF is the absolute catalyst for his decision, but it appears to be heading that way.

Just listened in on Chris Fagan on SEN and its interesting to note he is still talking plural when talking about "A Grade" talent. The Lachie Neale story has been out for a while now, but seems to me there may be another big fish in the wings.... lincoln mccarthy and mitch wallis are not "a grade" talent. So I wonder who else we may have a chance at aquiring in that "a grade" category.

Brisbane coach Chris Fagan is “hopeful” of securing the services of Fremantle star Lachie Neale during the upcoming trade period.

SEN Time On host Sam McClure broke the story regarding the Lions’ interest in Neale, with the midfielder reportedly open to the idea of joining the club, despite having a year to run on his current deal with the Dockers.

Fagan says list manager Dom Abrogio and Head of Football David Noble are working hard behind the scenes to land the 25-year-old, in a bid to fast-track the Lions’ rebuild and compliment their abundance of young talent.

“You’re hopeful that the players that you’re talking to will give your club the nod, and then you hope the deal can get done,” Fagan told SEN’s Whateley.

“There’s a lot of water to pass under the bridge, clubs will always try hard to keep their good players, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed, keep working hard and hopefully some dominos tip our way.

“There’s always on-going discussions with managers and players that go on, every now and then they pull the coach in for a chat, but I don’t expect that to happen between now and the end of the trade period.

“You’re always trying to make a case to get that player over the line”.

“For a club in our situation, we’re always looking to add A-grade talent that can help our young players improve relatively quickly, and we aren’t on our own in that.

“We’ll just keep our fingers crossed that things turn work our way and we’ll be able to land some of those players that we have been talking to.”

Fremantle CEO Steve Rosich remains confident that Neale will remain at the club and sign a contract extension, despite the heavy links to the Lions.

I do think you guys have been pretty good but i think there is an unwritten rule that oppo posters dont pull up ridiculous trade suggestions on peeps own board AND if you do, dont expect to be treated well. There are nuffies on every board with some truly idiotic trades but your own board is a safe space and there are quite a few of you guys posting on our board (which i quite like tbh).

Finally, if Lachie could make up his ****ing mind itd be appreciated. Hes being pretty damn selfish in this whole process...
