Haven't really been following the draft, but I'm hoping we're looking for or have identified any mature-aged small forwards who have got the talent or potential to contribute immediately to our side.

Ben Sokol?Who is the little nuggety bloke from WA, Skokol or something?
Ben Sokol?
Might do some reading on him. Think I first heard about him when he became eligible for the draft a few years ago.Sounds like the one

Sam LowsonWasn’t there a small forward in the VFL who was favourite to go No.1 in the mid year draft but got injured just before it?

Any fast small goalsneak is worth a look at for Melbourne, we need it. Melbourne were considering him. Anyone with speed in general. That said, I would still to investigate Ben Kelly (200cm Ruck turned KPD) from the VFL especially if we lose Frost. Supposed to be lightning quick.
Last I heard anything from Josh Mahoney regarding splitting 3, he sounded reasonably firm on staying in the top 10, so I reckon those picks might be too high to get it done.A bit of talk that we are interested in obtaining your pick 3 (this is coming from T Browne). What would you guys reasonably expect for it? 14 + 17 + WC FR1?
Sounds fair enough, I’d stay in the top 10 too.Last I heard anything from Josh Mahoney regarding splitting 3, he sounded reasonably firm on staying in the top 10, so I reckon those picks might be too high to get it done.

There are a million ways to cut it but if we are talking purely about splitting it for 2 picks, in my opinion I’d want around 8/9 and 15/16.
We’d surely want to keep a pick in the top 10.
If we were talking about splitting it into 3 picks then I’d be ok with any combo of late first round picks.
Hopefully anyone chasing pick 3 is either very keen on a specific kid, or is keen to avoid early bids on a top 6 prospect (GWS)..
From the Geelong thread and from Wells has mentioned, it seems we highly rate a specific player. Word is seems like it’s either Kemp or Flanders.

Stupid sexy FlandersI hear we're also heavily into Flanders, but more for the vast array of potential Simpsons memes that the player would open up than any actual football ability to speak of.
Brodie Kemp is the bargain of the century at 3. No affiliation.

Actually, don’t answer.
Tyrone Thorne and Ryan Bennell sound like good small forward options mid draft.

I don’t know if this is racist, but id be very happy if we punt on an indigenous kid or 2 with late picks.
