Embarrassing the fact we are gifting games to spuds like Petty and Billings and horribly out of form players like Chandler. Shows how bare the cupboard is though when next cab off is Laurie.

Playing with Petty has literally been like playing one man short in the forward line for weeks, makes it so easy for opposition to intercept mark and/or rebound out it’s embarrassing.

I just don’t understand how he stays in when players like Ben Brown get dropped immediately despite at least being able to compete/kick goals.

Nothing says list management issues like bringing in a premium ruckman on 600k only to play him in the 2s behind Petty and then trade him out for peanuts.

I'd also use the bye as the chance to put the blow-torch on a few players and ask them how commited they are to the future of this club. Set some clear fitness goals for Oliver to achieve by October, and if he doesn't reach them then he can explore his trade options. If Petty wants to go to Adelaide then he can go to Adelaide, but make it clear to him that he's not going for anything less than a late first rounder.

It was better than finals cause we got flogged for trying to play boring footy. Can't even turn the game into a 3/4 time 5.6 vs 5.3 50/50 anymore vs the Pies VFL side. You love to see it.

We saw this coming over a year ago and we're not paid to work in footy. How the **** a professional organization can be so inept that they miss it completely. I kinda get some of the nuff supporters, it's their job to be blind but no doubt at all Goodwin will pull them all in an say we are just a tweak away from a flag

Spargo had a poor run of form post-concussion but has mostly been a solid role player for us.
One of the few in the finals last year who at least looked like they wanted to win the ball.

Would easily be better than half a dozen spuds running around now.
