Moore already brushed us last year. Why would he be back in the conversation this year?
This is pure speculation on my part but I still believe the player's signature we are after most of all is that of Brodie Grundy.
More so than any other player out there that could be available, he is the one fellow that instantly transforms our midfield.
Now here is the big thing for me. The recruitment of Grundy would give us the THREE things we are desperately after.
1) A gun ruckman.
2) An extra clearance beast after the ruck contest.
3) A big
for Eddie!
I mean of all the names being said, Grundy makes me the most excited.
I don't want to lose Papley or Jones to get him but if Jones wants to go and is the catalyst to get Grundy I'll take it

You forgot Bennell, Daniher, Crouch and Brayshaw.
The only impediment to signing Bennell imo is whether his body can actually be relied upon at this point. He's had such woeful history of soft tissue injuries. I have no issues with his off-field stuff, I back our club to get the best out of all types of characters. It's just whether he can be reasonably relied upon to actually play next year.

I meant that we courted Moore last year and we were rejected so what's changed from his perspective? We were pretty handy for a few Collingwood players being able to use us to up their offer to stay at Collingwood.

Of all the names being floated around, I would like Wines to be the one that's on the money. Clearly fits our needs the most

A hard nosed inside mid is top of the list. Wines would be a dream but I'd look at Powell-Pepper too if he's on the move.
Desperately need to get our clearance game back on track.
Powell Pepper is the worst user and decision maker in the AFL. List wrecker.
