Which is strange because the guys at the coalface for us atm are doing great apparently

I don't think anybody would argue we are struggling but he is no upgrade on the current lot. Wines Would be the other bloke is not even as good as Hewett and he's proven in the second part of the year that he is all at sea when he gets some attention. Having said all that a ruckman to get first hand on the ball would help rather than having to play short people there who make us no better off than if we were to play Kenny Williams there.
Come to think of it maybe next time we come up against Gawn we should try it which would probably result in the song being sung without his theatrics. Mean spirited ? Have known the man for years out of Port Melbourne and he annoys the shit out of me.

He may not be an upgrade but he may just be something different. He's got a tiny bit more explosiveness than any of the three current kingpins of the midfield and doesn't get himself under as much pressure. What's happening in our midfield since about 2017 hasn't been working. We need some pace and dynamism (is that a word?) in there, because we're very stale and one-paced and not very efficient. But suggest changing things up in there and you get laughed off this board.

As for Kenny, I personally don't mind him from the outside looking in. If the boys are happy for him to be there then I don't have a problem with it but to each their own.

I'm not laughing I agree. We are ****ing pedestrian in there. Kennedy slow. Parker slow. Hewett slow. Then You have apprentice Jockeys Florent and Rowbottom. Yes some things do have to change I just don't think he would. List management in that part of the ground has not been great hard and all job it is but it's not if Kennedy's deterioration would not have been expected and Parker and Hewett would not beat me in a race.

I would be surprised if Papley ended up at Carlton next year but if Sydney are serious about Daniher, it may be an option. Question is does the outcome make Sydney better, because they hold all the cards unless Papley requests a trade.
Will be interesting to see if any of this comes close to playing out.

Good points Mate just don't go all Snake Baker on Us.

As an Expat here for 31+ years, it does indeed cost more in Sydney than the other capital cities.

No different to NY, Chicago, etc being more expensive cities to live in the USA

House prices for a start but generally around 10-15% more expensive on basics. I think this can be attribute in part to higher rents, so retail prices increased to maintain margins and affects dining out through to household basics really
Eaten out in Perth recently Syd? Way more expensive than Sydney. The problem is house prices and the flow on effect of that.

I'd be willing to wear a bigger dip in our midfield output next year if it meant those apprentice jockeys took over the mantle.

Cant believe people are rapt with Bennell esp after the shit reid has got for being injury prone. How many games played in the last 5 years? Not even touching the off field stuff.

When has Reid copped shit for being injury-prone? That's not his fault.

I give him shit when he does nothing when he's on the field, which is quite often in nearing 150 games.

You have to admit both of them only have to look at a Sherrin to get hurt. Having said that you are right hypocritical rejoicing over Bennell who with all due respect and no offence meant just about been certified as handicapped.

Coffee's cheaper in Sydney., generally. Eating out isn't, but you've got more cheap options like clubs that are subsidised by pokies. I was in Sydney last week and I didn't find it cheaper than Perth, just more Asian food options. There's cheap Asian food in Perth. Service was much better in Sydney though. I think in both places, you need to know where to go.

Fill us in King or are you just surmising here they get beat and says he wants a trade ? I don't think it will happen regardless win or lose.

I have no idea what will happen only sauce I’ve got is a bit of baconaise

I meant that we courted Moore last year and we were rejected so what's changed from his perspective? We were pretty handy for a few Collingwood players being able to use us to up their offer to stay at Collingwood.
He had his chance, probably used it to get a better deal at the Pies, so f*ck him. Definitely don’t want him.
