Come on, fellow Bloods........

Things we know.

1. Barrett (and pretty much all of his colleagues) write for clicks. That is their only objective. Create talk. They are only vaguely (very vaguely) limited by reference to truth.
2. Dodoro's a *******. And Lloyd is a mouthpiece for Essendon Football Club.
3. Our club is by and large a pretty well run club.

Things we don't know.

1. The extent, if any, of Daniher's injury.
2. What our club is prepared to pay for Daniher or accept for Papley (if anything).
3. How our club assesses the value of Daniher not just from a playing perspective but also a commercial one (bums on seats matter).

So please stop rewarding the likes of Barrett with pages of outrage and bloodletting for every single one of his speculative expert suppositions.

What time does Big Footy shut down?

Unless we've somehow done a medical and are 100% satisfied with his injury status - and I don't know how that could be the case - but even then, it's an overpay.

If this has been in the works for some time, we could have done a medical when he came up in August and visited Harley, whilst seeing his specialist....

Maybe we sat in on the appointment ;)

Why do people think Barrett would have all this inside information when nobody, even those with Essendon links, can state, with confidence, that Daniher is headed to the Swans?

Trade radio just said "no way will the Swans trade Paps, Its gone to the top of the club"
From an SEN reporter.. Sam someone

4. Essendon haven’t offered a new contract post 2020 to Daniher.

I reported that last night. The Swans board rejected it. I still don't have faith that it is guaranteed not to happen though.

yep, it still may happen, but at least we know the swans are at least trying to play hard ball and Carlton will have to pay high overs to get Paps

Why the hell would we do that...

Hogan is legit the closest trade in 10 years... need to look at that

Hogan probably was worth more last year - similar level of injury issues, but younger and wasn't a FA in 2019 so would have taken a trade regardless if he left. Daniher being a FA next year means that he can't be worth two top 10 picks.

I'm assuming purple is repeating what he's heard from Essendon rather than anything you guys are actually entertaining.
