We don
Why get Harley on trade radio he has no idea

He thought we were a top 4 list this year

Ok I'll Bite King.

When the **** did he say that ? If he indeed did say that he should be restrained, lead out of the offices of the SCG in a straight jacket and taken to the nearest Nuthouse. Oh ! And when the sedation wears off tell him he is sacked !

We were far from a top 4 side imo

Were we finished was a reflection of were we are at imo

I agree mate but you Throw Franklin into that side on a regular basis & a genuine ruckman all be it he is no star to at least give some service to the midfield and I still think we are better than St Kilda, North, Fremantle and possibly on their form this year Adelaide. That has you in a group just missing the 8 with Hawthorn and Port. A year under the belt of a few of those young blokes, like Blakey, Rowbottom and Dawson and some further improvement from blokes like Florent and Hayward and the 8 is not that far away. Top 4 nowhere near though.
Lose Papley and Jones without replacing them with ready made equals and what I have just said here should be taken as seriously as Harley's claim we were a top 4 list this year. Like I said very important this trade period for Us.

"Durak has been a popular and hard-working member of our group but due to a number of injury setbacks was unable get his body ready for the rigours of AFL football"
Oh, okay, I’d incorrectly read your original post as suggesting he didn’t put the required effort in to rehab so the Swans ditched him. No worries.

He isn't even the Football Manager anymore. Charlie Gardner and Kinnear Beatson are the people in charge of the list now

Sure, but those are positions that ultimately answer to him as the CEO. He won't be involved in the vast majority of the day to day operations of the football department, but when there are football decisions to be made that have an impact off the field as much as on (say, for instance, a major decision about bringing in someone like Franklin on an extended contract), he would be involved in the decision making.

Why is Papley, fresh from a leadership promotion, best ever season, contract extension and traipsing around Europe with six of best work buddies, doing this to the swans - the very organisation that transformed him from a life shovelling out shit to an elite footballer that gets to hang out with Buddy etc. Also the same organisation both his granddaddies player for.

Seriously? Why?
