Yep- it was given the 7 mins of discussion it warranted....
Rose may get a lifeline back in SA.
Especially a uncontracted player Geelong are being petty about it.
You know, or you assume?
There will be more. It’s not unusual to delist in multiple batches as discussions with other clubs progress.

Lot of pressure on Harley this trade period will be hurtful to our chances of luring players in the future if infact he invited Daniher to his house pitched him a future here then failed to get a deal done.

Well I hope that's not our position because that's a bit nonsensical. We put the feelers out on Daniher weeks ago so now we have to see it through or we look like geese?
What if we decided that he's too much of a risk with his injuries? What if we decided what Essendon were asking was just not worth it? What if we played the long game and patiently waited for him to become a free agent next year? Do we just say "she'll be right" and take the punt to protect our image?
You're also assuming that we are desperately pursuing Daniher, and that just may not be the reality of the situation. If it's true that we're not willing to let go of pick 5 (which I hope is the case), and we're planning on holding Papley to his contract (which I also hope is the case), then that would suggest we're not overwhelmingly desperate to secure Daniher.

I think we started with four additional on our list because we had three mid season rookies and one irish player joining.
So i think that gives us three spare positions on the list. With possibly another one if Cameron or Jones gets traded.

Maybe he was meeting Daniher just to say hi? Maybe to start the ball rolling for next year as a free agent? Both would be good conversations
If Macca, Grundy, Naismith, Buddy played 15 - 20 games this year (not expecting too much), we probably were a top 4 side
Harley isn't an idiot, Ive only ever seen him handle himself and his position at the Swans well.
Exactly! Is he trying to deliberately **** us over by nominating just one club? Why would he want to do that? I don't believe he'd be that way inclined. Let's be honest here, it's about the money (or the under the table deal).
