I’d keep Wicks, Pink, Hirst, McLean and maybe Menzel. Not that fussed on the rest.
Agree with that but I like Maibaum. He's never had a clear run but was doping well in the magoos prior to getting injured. Give him one more year to see if he remains injury free and can get into the side.

I have really like Maibaum as well, but I am not sure (nor am I in the position to determine) whether to persist with him.

It will be his 4th year on the list, one that might take a number of weeks or months into the year before he is fully fit (*assuming no complications). Therefore he may get towards the end next year / into his 5th year with no or very little senior football to his name.

Do you get a draftee and put that time into them instead? I guess that is the conundrum with my thoughts on Maibaum.

Pink has complicated things further by becoming a decent and improving defender (who is faster than Maibaum) throughout the year. He is entering his 4th year as well but will be able to do a full preseason and put himself in line for senior games early in the year potentially.

Good point. It might come down to Pink vs Maibaum (not both) and given Pinks form this year he wins hands down.

kind of glad we have nothing to do with the Kelly trade, some of the discussion around that is completely deranged.
2000% their coach and list manager said “there is some talk with how good Tim is that we should even be contemplating trading him”

Wtf line is that? Let him go to the draft? Shoot yourselves in the foot. Crazy times!!!

Melican has a year to go. I'd be extending Maibaum for a year (and Pink) then deciding next year between the three.

There are already 5 coming off the senior list.

Dwayne Russell said yesterday that they should hold onto him for 12 months.

He wasn't joking ...
I just hate their holier than thou attitude as though the eagles did something wrong.

Then when danger wants to move home the crows are holding him hostage.

The cats are media darlings and it gives me the shits that no1 calls them on it

To be fair I have pursued a multi year jihad on Swans facebook fans pages against Longmire, trying to restore balance to the force.
Not all heroes wear capes.
