It’s always been in St Kilda and Young’s court to come to the party not Bellies. I’m in the Hill stays if Lethlean and Young can’t deliver.

Agree with that. Not sure if it is true that Acres is actually decent inside as the Saints claim but I'd be prepared to cut him some slack if we do sign him.

Yeah obviously that would be ideal. And I'd be doing cartwheels if we got that - which is what I said at the start of the day. I was never expecting that though as StK would be taking a huge risk as they'd be just as likely to finish bottom 6 in 2020. If you go a step down from that though it's probably a couple of 2nd rounders instead of another 1st rounder and 2nd going back. Need to see the whole deal before we melt. It is still very possible we still end up with more first rounders by packaging up picks - like Melbourne did trading with North.

Yeah agree. With my non-tribal hat on they can't include their future first since they have no reason to expect they are going to be any good.

How is everyone getting upset about Acres? Pick 10, a future 2nd and Acres looks like a real good deal to me.

if St K finish 8th next year then > pick 28 is 677 with Acres say pick 48 (302pts) that equates to pick 18 pretty much...so 10 and 18. Acres at pick 30 would bring it up to pick 13. What's Acres worth as a straight trade?
